Objective: The primary goal of this article is to analyze whether there is still room for ovarian stimulation in poor responders prescribed the long protocol.

Methods: This retrospective cohort study analyzed the medical charts of patients seen at the Vida Centro de Fertilidade, a private fertility clinic in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from January 2018 to June 2023. It included poor responders described based on the Bologna criteria who were first prescribed conventional treatment with an antagonist protocol, without success, and then the long agonist protocol.

Unlabelled: The United Nations (UN) Decade of Ocean Science highlights a need to improve the way in which scientific results effectively inform action and policies regarding the ocean. Our research contributes to achieving this goal by identifying practical actions, barriers, stakeholder contributions and resources required to increase the sustainability of activities carried out in the context of artisanal fisheries to meet UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and International Year of Artisanal Fisheries and Aquaculture (IYAFA) Global Action Plan (GAP) Pillar targets. We conducted a novel 'social value chain analysis' via a participatory workshop to elicit perspectives of value chain actors and fisheries stakeholders associated with two Spanish artisanal common octopus () fisheries (western Asturias-Marine Stewardship Council [MSC] certified, and Galicia-non-MSC certified) about their priorities regarding sustainable octopus production and commercialization.

Introduction: Lumbar punctures (LP) in patients presenting thrombocytopenia are linked to the possibility of bleeding and spinal hematomas. The minimum platelet count required for the safe performance of spinal procedures is still under discussion. Children with some oncology diseases require routinely lumbar punctures; such patients often present thrombocytopenia, making this group an ideal population to study the association between lumbar puncture in thrombocytopenic patients and complications.

Translocations involving chromosome 11q23 are frequently found in pediatric leukemia, especially in infants. The mixed lineage leukemia (MLL)-AF4 fusion/t(4;11) is mostly found in acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and MLL-AF9 fusion/t(9;11) in acute myeloid leukemia (AML). We study 441 consecutive new cases of childhood leukemia diagnosed in Brazil.
