The efficiency of modern immunoactive preparation cycloferon at coplex therapy of the patients with nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) combined with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). It was set that before treatment took place devition of immune homeostasis such as cellular immunity and serum interferon activity. Application of cycloferon provided to regress of clinical symptoms of NASH, combined with IBS and normalization of immune indexes.

The articles contains an analysis of a dependence of the clinical-pattern nature of primarily diagnosed pulmonary tuberculosis on a tuberculosis form; on a time elapsed from the onset of primary disease signs to the requesting the medical care by a patient; and on a duration of patient's stay in a general therapeutic facility until he or she is transferred to a specialized anti-TB hospital. Medical histories of 177 patients, who were admitted to a regional anti-TB health center, were investigated. The specific pulmonary process was detected, in all patients, upon their asking for medical care within the general therapeutic network.

At present, pulmonological units admit patients with pulmonary tuberculosis forms that are epidemiologically hazardous, such as disseminated caseous and fibrocavernous pneumonia. The forms are characterized by abundant bacterial isolation and multiple bilateral lung tissue destruction. The causes of death in new cases of tuberculosis were their late referral for medical aid in the period of drastic deterioration of their health due to progression.

An attempt was made to find out whether it is feasible to use a certain set of immune tests in the evaluation of systemic effects of harmful environmental factors in women of child-bearing age, for which purpose 328 female subjects 17 to 38 years old, living under environmental health-hazard conditions within the zone of Donbass region were studied. Immunogrammes of the examines allowed judgement about relatedness of the degree of immune disorders to environmental conditions of life and presence of occupational hazards.

Two procedures for treating experimental tuberculosis were compared. One comprised a rapid administration of tuberculin up to large doses (20,000 TE), the other included weakly stimulating therapy with tuberculin (its maximum dose being 150 TE). Treatment with tuberculin in combination with isoniazid ensures a higher resolution of specific abnormalities than that with isoniazid alone.
