Material And Methods: The research by means of a survey method, postal questionnaire technique, comprised 2143 women - a representative sample of the female population living in Lublin Province. Three standardized questionnaires - WHOQOL-BREF, Women's Health Questionnaire and SF-36 - as well as an original questionnaire were used as research tools.

The purpose of the study was the evaluation of the assumptions of drug addiction prophylactics and its realization in the practice of primary health care physicians as well as determination of the possibilities of introducing changes in the training of physicians which would favour the increase and extension of knowledge in this field.
