We studied the formation of the phenotype of non-specific immunological memory (trained immunity) in human monocyte-like THP-1 and U-937 cell lines. The absence of the lag phase after primary contact with the pathogen (Mycobacterium bovis, BCG vaccine) does not contribute to the formation of the trained immunity phenotype in the cells. The presence of the lag phase promotes the development of the trained immunity phenotype, especially in THP-1 cells.

There is a need to generate more data on clinical characteristics and risks of COVID19 patients presenting with DM. In this retrospective study we aimed to report on demographic features, clinical data, and outcomes of COVID-19 patients with DM in comparison with age- and sex-matched patients without DM.

The aim of the study was to assess the acceptability of the objective and subjective indicators for identification of oral diseases risk factors and the quality of dental care of school-aged children. The study included 200 school children of two age groups (12 and 15-year-old) surveyed in Minsk and Moscow cities using European global system of oral health indicators development (EGOHID). The modified WHO questionnaire was used to study behavioral habits of 15-year-old children.

It was determined that for children, whose molars were healthy during the basic examination, the highest caries protective effect was achieved with the help of varnish, containing CaF(2) (the reduction of increase of the intensity of caries of permanent molars formed 59.7%), and for children with initial high lesion of caries of permanent molars the best caries preventive effect was achieved with the varnish "Bifluorid 12®" (the reduction of increase of the intensity of caries of permanent molars formed 52.

All children lived in the region with lov F-0,2 ppm in water, used fluoridated toothpaste and went to kindergartens. Children from group A (n=10) did not have other sources of F, group B children (n=10) drink one glass a day of F-water (1 ppm), participants from group C (n=11) eat F-salt 250+/-100 ppm.

Sodium nitroprusside caused 3-fold increase of mechanical and peroxidative erythrocyte hemolysis and also increase of bound malonic dialdehyde. Sodium nitroprusside-treated erythrocytes were also characterized by increased Na+, K(+)-ATPase activity.

The content of calcium and phosphorus is decreased and that of fluorine increased in the oral fluid of children whose diet includes fluorinated salt, and the levels of calcium and phosphorus in their dental enamel are increased in comparison with children using common table salt. Three-year consumption of fluorinated salt resulted in a decrease of calcium release and increase of phosphorus release into acid biopsy.

The treatment resulted in a remarkable positive effect which manifested itself in amelioration of circulation in the lower limbs, positive time-course of changes in peripheral hemodynamics and in computer-aided tomography data. The use of emakor is contraindicated in exacerbation of gastrointestinal diseases, chronic pulmonary diseases associated with the obstructive syndrome, and marked signs of venous outflow obstruction in the lower limbs.
