Objective: The aim: To work out the predictive system that can help to determine the group of patients to whom the hemodynamic surgery of varicose disease, CHIVA, is beneficial.
Patients And Methods: Materials and methods: Results of examination and treatment of 58 patients of the main group who underwent hemodynamic surgery and 65 patients of the comparison group who underwent stripping. Patients of both groups were evaluated in the preoperative period using an evaluation scale, and divided into three subgroups depending on the scores: 5- 8, 9 - 11, and 12 - 15 points.
Objective: The aim: To assess morphometric parameters of placentas and to evaluate the correlation between the placental disk shape, the site of the umbilical cord insertion and the birth weight of dichorionic twins.
Patients And Methods: Materials and methods: The geometry of placentas, distances between umbilical cord insertion sites and the centroids of the disks were measured in 135 pairs of dichorionic diamniotic twins. The impact of the above-mentioned parameters on the birth weight and placental mass was analyzed.

Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of radiofrequency ablation (RFA) for scars tissue volume reduction, and influence on the clinical manifestations of keloid and hypertrophic scars.
Materials And Methods: Seventeen patients (9 males, 8 females), 19-62 years old, with some scars were enrolled into the prospective randomized controlled study: 10 with keloids, 7 with hypertrophic scars. Previous failed attempts to correct the scars were undertaken in 8 patients with keloids and in 3 patients with hypertrophic scars.
Background: The application of new techniques of the scars' correction requires the objective evaluation of their vascularization.
Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of digital program ImageJ in assessing neovascularization of pathologic scars.
Material And Methods: In this cross-sectional study, a total of 25 patients with pathologic scars were enrolled.

The application of it results in the recovery of peristalsis in the 2nd-3d days after operation and in less amount of postoperative complications.

The character of the source and rate of bleeding were taken into consideration in determining the surgical tactics in 342 patients with cirrhosis of the liver complicated by gastro-esophageal bleedings and with high risk of their appearance. The operation of choice is thought to be arrest of the gastro-esophageal collateral blood flow. At high portal pressure or its considerable growing after the separating operation the latter should be associated with vascular anastomosis.
