Background: The deteriorating psychosocial work environment among healthcare workers in Sweden, influenced by demanding working conditions and resource constraints, affects individual well-being and patient care quality. Healthcare workers, including physicians, registered nurses, and nursing assistants, often work interdependently and share workplaces, yet are three completely different professions. Nonetheless, comprehensive studies comparing their psychosocial work environments are scarce; often focusing on healthcare workers either separately or as a homogenous group, but rarely comparative.

A digital health-supported and community pharmacy-based lifestyle intervention program for adults with pre-diabetes: a study protocol for a cluster randomised controlled trial.

Introduction: Pre-diabetes indicates an elevated risk of developing type-2 diabetes and presents a window for preventive actions. The Pre-diabetes Intervention, Management and Evaluation (PRIME) programme is a community pharmacy-based pre-diabetes management programme that uses a mobile application for self-monitoring and pre-diabetes education, aiming to promote lifestyle changes among participants with pre-diabetes.

Methods And Analysis: This is a protocol for a cluster randomised controlled trial that aims to evaluate the impact of the PRIME programme on participants' clinical outcomes and explore participants' and pharmacists' views towards its implementation.

Application of WINROP to predict severe retinopathy of prematurity in a multi-ethnic cohort in Singapore.

Aim: To investigate the validity of WINROP use in multi-ethnic population in a tertiary centre in Singapore.

Methods: Birth weight, gestational age, and weekly weight measurements of four hundred two preterm infants (<32 weeks gestation) born between year 2011 and 2019 were entered into WINROP algorithm. Methods: This paper details an intervention developed by an NHS Wales organization to reduce the number of its employee investigations through an organization-wide focus that promoted a 'last resort' approach and introduced the concept of 'avoidable employee harm'. In this work, the properties of a novel electrolyte based on the combination of bio-based ƴ-valerolactone (GVL) solvent with lithium bis(oxalato)borate (LiBOB) salt and its use for lithium-ion capacitors (LICs) are presented. It is shown that the 1 m LiBOB in GVL electrolyte displays good transport properties, high thermal stability, and the ability to prevent anodic dissolution. Its impact on the performance of both battery-type and capacitive-type electrodes is evaluated.

Epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) is increasingly explored in cancer progression. Considering that triple negative (TN) breast cancer has the poorest survival among molecular subtypes, we investigated 49 TN, 45 luminal and 25 HER2-enriched female breast carcinomas for EMT expression (using E-cadherin and vimentin immunohistochemistry) against lymphovascular and/or lymph node invasion. E-cadherin and vimentin expressions were semi-quantitated for positive- cancer cells (0=0-<1%, 1=1-10%, 2 =11-50%, 3=>50%) and staining intensity (0=negative, 1=weak, 2=moderate, 3=strong), with final score (low=0-4 and high=6-9) derived by multiplying percentage and intensity scores for each marker.

The prevalence of pre-diabetes is increasing globally, affecting an estimated 552 million people by 2030. While lifestyle interventions are the first line of defense against progression toward diabetes, information on barriers toward pre-diabetes management and how to overcome these barriers are scarce. This systematic review describes the publics' and healthcare professionals' knowledge, attitude and practice (KAP) toward pre-diabetes and determines the barriers toward pre-diabetes management.

Doctors' perceived working conditions, psychological health and patient care: a meta-analysis of longitudinal studies.

Objectives: Studies have demonstrated an association between doctors' perceived working conditions, and their psychological well-being and patient care. However, few have examined inter-relationships among these three domains, and even fewer using longitudinal designs.
