Resilience's impact on quality of life and post-traumatic growth in breast cancer patients during treatment.

Background: This article aims to examine how psychological resilience influences the interplay between quality of life and post-traumatic growth among breast cancer patients receiving follow-up care and treatment in Türkiye.

Methods: The study involved 119 female individuals diagnosed with breast cancer who visited the Oncology outpatient clinic at a state hospital in Türkiye from January to September 2023. Data were gathered through the administration of a survey form and the utilization of several assessment tools, including the Adult Life Quality Scale in Cancer Survivors (QLACS), the Brief Resilience Scale (BRS), and the Post-traumatic Growth Inventory (PTGI).

The effects of education on foot care behaviors and self-efficacy in type 2 diabetes patients.

Background: Diabetic foot significantly affects the quality of life of patients with diabetes. It leads to loss of labor force, psychosocial trauma, and high treatment costs due to serious morbidity and mortality. Nurses have an important responsibility to improve the metabolic status of individuals with diabetes, to protect them from foot complications, and to teach patients foot care skills.

The relationship between fear of COVID-19, psychological well-being and life satisfaction in nursing students: A cross-sectional study.

Objective: This study was conducted to examine the relationship between fear of COVID-19, psychological well-being, and satisfaction with life in nursing students.

Methods: A descriptive and cross-sectional design was used in this study. The study was carried out at a university Faculty of Health Sciences Department of Nursing between May 17 and June 25, 2021.

THE EFFECT OF DIABETES SYMPTOMS ON QUALITY OF LIFE IN INDIVIDUALS WITH TYPE 2 DIABETES.

Objective: This study aimed to investigate the effect of symptoms of diabetes on the quality of life of individuals with Type 2 diabetes.

Method: The study used a cross-sectional design. No sampling procedure was employed in the study; instead, 410 individuals presenting to the Balikesir Atatürk City Hospital Endocrinology and Internal Medicine Polyclinics between December 2016 and July 2017, diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, and meeting the inclusion criteria were enrolled in the study sample.

Nursing students' approaches toward euthanasia.

Background: In Turkey, which is a secular, democratic nation with a majority Muslim population, euthanasia is illegal and regarded as murder. Nurses and students can be faced with ethical dilemmas and a lack of a legal basis, with a conflict of religious beliefs and social and cultural values concerning euthanasia. The aim of this study was to investigate undergraduate nursing students' attitudes towards euthanasia.
