Prostatectomy has been widely accepted as a treatment option for prostate cancer and can be performed via an open, laparoscopic, and robotic approach. The outcomes following prostatectomy are primarily sub-grouped into oncological and functional outcomes. Oncological outcomes have been comparable in the above three surgical modalities.

Materials And Methods: In this prospective study 40 patients with obstructive lower urinary tract symptoms and suspected to be having stricture urethra were subjected to ascending urethrogram and sonourethrogram. The radiologist was blinded to the findings of ascending urethrogram.
Pendred syndrome is a recessively inherited disorder characterized by goiter associated with sensory-neural deafness. The thyroid glands of affected individuals cannot organify iodide efficiently due to a defective gene in chromosome 7. Here we report a case of Pendred syndrome with retrosternal goitre.
