Transformer is a powerful model widely used in artificial intelligence applications. It contains complex structures and has extremely high computational requirements that are not suitable for embedded intelligent sensors with limited computational resources. The binary quantization technology takes up less memory space and has a faster calculation speed; however, it is seldom studied for the lightweight transformer.

: Lung cancer is an aggressive disease with rapid progression and a high rate of metastasis, leading to a significantly poor prognosis for many patients. While chemotherapy continues to serve as a cornerstone treatment for a large proportion of lung cancer patients, expanding preclinical and clinical evidence indicates that chemotherapy may promote tumor metastasis and cause side effects. : We develop an injectable bait-and-hook hydrogel (BH-gel) for targeted tumor cell eradication, which embedded doxorubicin liposomes as cytotoxic agents and CXCL12 as a chemoattractant to capture and kill tumor cells.

Natural plant fibers (NPFs) have emerged as a sustainable alternative in the manufacture of composites due to their renewability and low environmental impact. This has led to a significant increase in the use of natural plant fiber-reinforced polymers (NPFRPs) in a variety of industries. The diversity of NPF types brings a wide range of properties and functionalities to NPFRPs, which in turn highlights the urgent need to improve the properties of fiber materials in order to enhance their performance and suitability.

Salt stress is one of the principal abiotic stresses limiting agricultural production and seriously inhibiting seed germination rates. This study selected the salt-tolerant rice variety HD961 and the salt-sensitive rice variety 9311 as experimental materials to investigate the physiological and metabolic effects of exogenous Spd seed priming on rice seeds and seedlings under NaCl stress. The experiment involved treating rice seeds with 0.

Heterotrimeric G-proteins are fundamental signal transducers highly conserved in plant species, which play crucial roles in regulating plant growth, development, and responses to abiotic stresses. Identification of G-protein members and their expression patterns in plants are essential for improving crop resilience against environmental stresses. Here, we identified eight heterotrimeric G-protein genes localized on four chromosomes within the barley genome by using comprehensive genome-wide analysis.

Antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs) are emerging as significant environmental contaminants, posing potential health risks worldwide. Intensive livestock farming, particularly swine production, is a primary contributor to the escalation of ARG pollution. In this study, we employed metagenomic sequencing and quantitative polymerase chain reaction to analyze the composition of microorganisms and ARGs across four vectors in a typical swine fattening facility: dung, soil, airborne particulate matter (PM), and fodder.

Cadmium poses a significant threat to freshwater aquatic organisms and ecosystems, making it essential to establish regional freshwater quality criteria (FWQC) in China to safeguard these organisms. The toxicity database for cadmium covered 249 acute toxicity data from 52 species (seven phyla and 27 families) and 62 chronic toxicity data from 21 species (four phyla and 12 families). During short-term exposure, displayed the most sensitivity to cadmium, whereas showed the most sensitivity in long-term exposure scenarios.

This study introduces a novel method that integrates artificial neural networks (ANNs) with the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm to enhance the efficiency and precision of parameter optimization for the small-signal equivalent model of dual-field-plate GaN HEMT devices. We initially train an ANN model to predict the S-parameters of the device, and subsequently utilize the PSO algorithm for parameter optimization. Comparative analysis with the NSGA2 and DE algorithms, based on convergence speed and accuracy, underscores the superiority of the PSO algorithm.

The MEMS scanning micromirror requires angle sensors to provide real-time angle feedback during operation, ensuring a stable and accurate deflection of the micromirror. This paper proposes a method for integrating piezoresistive sensors on the torsion axis of electrostatic MEMS micromirrors to detect the deflection angle. The design uses a multi-layer bonding process to realize a vertical comb-driven structure.

Vector bending sensors can be utilized to detect the bending curvature and direction, which is essential for various applications such as structural health monitoring, mechanical deformation measurement, and shape sensing. In this work, we demonstrate a temperature-insensitive vector bending sensor via parallel Farby-Perot interferometers (FPIs) fabricated by etching and splicing a multicore fiber (MCF). The parallel FPIs made in this simple and effective way exhibit significant interferometric visibility with a fringe contrast over 20 dB in the reflection spectra, which is 6 dB larger than the previous MCF-based FPIs.

The solder burrs on the 304V wire surface can easily scratch the vascular tissue during interventional treatment, resulting in complications such as medial tears, bleeding, dissection, and rupture. Abrasive blasting is often used to remove solder burr and obtain a smooth surface for the interventional device. This study conducted an abrasive blasting experiment to explore the effects of process parameters (air pressure, lift-off height, abrasive volume, and abrasive type) on processing time, surface roughness, and mechanical properties to reveal the material removal mechanism.

In this study, we developed a colloidal gold immunochromatographic strip (CGIS) method that used the matrix-matched calibration curves of contamination ratio models to quantitatively determine the total aflatoxin in five herbal medicines. This approach addresses issues related to false results and poor accuracy associated with conventional methods. The CGIS was analyzed using a Vertu touch reader, and the matrix-matched calibration was established based on the absorbance ratios of the T and C lines, as well as the logarithmic values of the total aflatoxin concentrations.
