Cancer is a chronic disease reported with alarming rates of mortalities every year. Herein, we reported the synthesis of nitrogen based novel heterocyclic disubstituted derivatives and evaluated them against L929 and A549 cell lines using MTT assay. Among all, 6a2 and 6c1 were significantly active against L929 with IC value of 2.

Evaluate the Effectiveness of Toluidine Blue for Obtaining Safe Margins in Resection of Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma.

Aims: To evaluate the effectiveness of toluidine blue for obtaining safe margins in oral squamous cell carcinoma.

Materials And Methods: Intra-operatively irrigation of the lesion and its surrounding areas was done with toluidine blue solution for 20 s. Followed by irrigation with 1% acetic acid to remove all the mechanically retained stain.

Elongated Pterygoid Hamulus: A case Report.

Unlabelled: A case is reported of a patient suffering from pain and swelling on the left side of the palate. Elongated pterygoid hamulus appeared to be the cause of his discomfort. we report on a case of elongation of pterygoid hamulus that was managed successfully by surgical treatment and a review of the literature.

Expanding the tetrahydroquinoline pharmacophore.

Tetrahydroquinoline is a privileged scaffold with a large number of biological applications. The tetrahydroquinoline pharmacophore has been expanded to yield 34 compounds. Biological screening of these compounds led to the identification of tetrahydroquinoline as neurotropic agents not reported earlier.
