Abdominal obesity and associated factors among urban adults in Southwest Ethiopia: a community-based cross-sectional study.

Introduction: the obesity epidemic is growing faster in developing countries with no exception of Ethiopia. Currently, abdominal obesity is identified as a major risk factor for chronic diseases due to the accumulation of liable fat. However, despite the evidence of certain documented data, abdominal obesity has been on the rise in Ethiopia, especially in urban areas.
