Beliefs about low back pain: Status quo in Indian general population.

Background: Low back pain (LBP) is a major public health problem and is the leading musculoskeletal cause of disability. Various bio-behavioral factors which can be associated with disability due to LBP have been identified. When considering these factors associated with LBP, beliefs that people hold are among the most important factors to consider.
