Posterior reversible leukoencephalopathy is a rare radio-clinical entity that has gained increasing recognition over the last two decades. It is associated with various etiologies: arterial hypertension, autoimmune diseases, chemotherapy, and immunosuppressive drugs. Several cases have already been reported following cancer therapy.

Methods And Materials: A 37-question survey was conducted in April 2023 among 165 Moroccan radiation oncologists using Google Forms.
Results: Of the 93 respondents, 39% treated over 20 patients in 2022 using 3D image-guided brachytherapy (BT) through the HDR technique; 2D techniques were not reported in the last five years.
Background: Ureteral metastasis from gastric cancers are rare and can be a cause of ureteral obstruction. There have been few published case reports in the literature. In this paper, we report an additional case and a review of the literature of all the previous reported cases.

The aim of this analysis is to assess radiotherapy's role and technical aspects in an array of rare gastrointestinal (GI) cancers for adult patients. Collection data pertaining to radiotherapy and digestive rare cancers were sourced from Medline, EMBASE, and Cochrane Library. Preoperative chemoradiotherapy improved outcomes for patients with esophageal undifferentiated carcinoma compared with esophageal salivary gland types of carcinomas.

An actualized analysis of NPC patients' features enables a global view of NPC management. Accordingly, the current study investigated the epidemiological and clinical characteristics of Moroccan patients with NPC, as well as their 4-years survival outcomes and influencing prognostic factors.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFObjective: Nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is a severe malignant disease. Despite its low frequency, NPC is very common in North African population. Radiotherapy is the standard therapeutic treatment of NPC.

A total of 142 patients with NPC were prospectively enrolled in this study. The plasma EBV DNA concentration was measured before and after treatment using qPCR.

Methods: In this study, pre-treatment [F]FDG PET/CT and HN-MRI parameters of NPC patients diagnosed between January 2017 and December 2018, were prospectively investigated. Correlation between those parameters and 4-year patient's survival outcomes was evaluated using Kaplan-Meier and Cox-regression analyses.
Context: Dermatomyositis is a rare autoimmune disease characterized by noninfectious inflammatory damage of skin and predominant muscles in the belts. It is believed to be associated with about 1 in 1000 cases of nasopharyngeal carcinoma. This association has been described for locally advanced stages II and III nasopharyngeal carcinoma.

In the present study, we have attempted to evaluate the correlation between pre-treatment plasmatic Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) DNA load and the conventional prognostic factors in Moroccan patients with NPC.
Methods: The present study was conducted on 121 histologically confirmed NPC patients, recruited from January 2017 to December 2018.

Mycosis fungoid (MF) is a non-Hodgkin's T-cell lymphoma determined by primary cutaneous involvement. Neuroendocrine small cell carcinoma of the bladder is a rare and aggressive tumour, accounting for less than 1% of all bladder tumours. Given its rarity and the absence of randomized trials, the therapeutic management of these tumours remains difficult. By analogy with small cell lung cancer, multimodal treatment is often proposed.
