Background: Percutaneous radiofrequency nucleoplasty is a true minimally invasive technique for treatment for radiculopathy caused by contained disc protrusions. An X-ray structure of a CLICK chemistry-based BET PROTAC bound to BRD2(BD2) inspired synthesis of JQ1 derived heterocyclic amides. This effort led to the discovery of potent BET inhibitors displaying overall improved profiles when compared to JQ1 and birabresib. A thiadiazole derived 1q (SJ1461) displayed excellent BRD4 and BRD2 affinity and high potency in the panel of acute leukaemia and medulloblastoma cell lines.

Several coumarin derivatives with a directly attached azole substituent at C-4 were synthesized and biologically studied for their anticancer properties. Objective: The objective was to determine the antibiofilm efficacy of Cymbopogon martinii and Thymus zygis essential oils and to estimate the disruption potential of oil-based endodontic irrigants on the multispecies biofilm formed in the root canals of extracted teeth.

The verified presence of a glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) tumor in the motor area of the brain, in a patient lacking preoperative neurological deficit, offers no certainty that the tumor can be radically removed without the possibility of causing postoperative motor deficit.
