This is a descriptive, quantitative, cross-sectional study of how ACPE Certified Educators (CEs) allocated their time among varied responsibilities in calendar year 2021. Using a structured interview assisted survey instrument, 25 CEs at academic medical centers/university teaching hospitals were surveyed via Zoom/Phone. Results found a median commitment of 58% of time on clinical pastoral education (CPE) activities (38% to teaching and 20% to administration).

Hyperinsulinemic hypoglycemia is most commonly caused by a single, sporadic insulinoma. Multicentric insulinoma disease (insulinomatosis) as well as metachronous neuroendocrine tumors of the pancreas, known also as neuroendocrine adenomatosis, represent a very rare condition, if not associated with multiple endocrine neoplasia type 1 syndrome (MEN1) or Von Hippel Lindau disease. We report a 9-year follow-up of a 41-year-old woman, initially presenting with hypoglycemic syndrome caused by two insulin-producing tumors, who underwent subtotal pancreasectomy in 2012, with histology compatible with multiple small neuroendocrine tumors.

Background: Since the beginning of the worldwide spread of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 to date, important knowledge has been obtained about the virus behavior in living subjects and on inanimate surfaces; however, there is still a lack of data on virus persistency on dead bodies and the risk of contagion from cadavers.

Case Presentation: The present case shows the persistency of the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 viral genome in nasopharyngeal swabs performed on a drowned Caucasian man, aged 41 years old, who was completely asymptomatic when he was alive, up to 41 days after death. Specific real-time reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (TaqMan 2019-nCoV Assay Kit v2; Thermo Fisher Scientific, Italy and Realquality RQ-SARS-CoV-2, AB Analytical) was used to evaluate the swabs.
