Alar base retraction may result in disharmony of nose structures. Although correction of this retraction may play an important role in patient satisfaction, there is a limited number of studies on alar base retraction correction. The aim of this study was to manage alar base retraction with minimal undesirable results.

Methods: Three hundred (300) eyes of 185 Saudi subjects (97 men and 88 women), whose age ranged from 15 to 85 years old, with matched refractive errors, were divided into three groups according to their age, 100 for each.
