Background: To compare the efficacy and tolerance of three prostaglandin analogues, bimatoprost, latanoprost and travoprost in patients with previously untreated open-angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension.
Methods: Prospective randomized single (investigator) masked comparative clinical trial at the Taunton and Somerset NHS Hospital, Taunton, UK. Newly diagnosed, treatment naïve glaucoma/ocular hypertension patients were recruited.
Purpose: To assess the effects of central corneal thickness (CCT) and corneal curvature (CC) on the measurements of intraocular pressure (IOP) using Goldmann applanation tonometer (GAT) and the ocular blood flow pneumatonometer (OBFT).
Methods: 104 patients were recruited from a glaucoma clinic. The CCT was measured using ultrasound pachymetry and the mean radius of CC using a keratometer.

Purpose: To report a case series of what initially appeared to be macroscopic biomaterial deposits and irregularities on the surface of AcrySof SA60AT intraocular lenses (IOLs) (Alcon Inc.)
Setting: Department of Ophthalmology and Somerset Hospital, Taunton, United Kingdom; Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, John A Moran Eye Center, University of Utah, Salt Lake City, Utah, USA; and Intraocular Implant Unit, Sydney Eye Hospital, University of Sydney, Sydney, Australia.
Methods: Twelve AcrySof SA60AT IOLs were initially thought to have irregularities on their surfaces when examined under the operating microscope before implantation in the capsular bag during cataract surgery.

We report a case of surprachoroidal hemorrhage (SCH) that occurred during cataract surgery in a previously vitrectomized eye. The only sign of SCH was a progressive shadow obscuring the red reflex. There was no increase in intraocular pressure (IOP), shallowing of the anterior chamber, or iris prolapse.
