Retinoblastoma is a rare form of pediatric eye cancer for which enucleation is a common treatment modality. There is an increasing focus upon the impact of enucleation on children and families. This study aimed to explore the experiences of children and their families following enucleation to consider the barriers that may be encountered when adjusting to living with an artificial eye and identifying the support services and strategies used to address these barriers.
