- A sample of 100 orthodontic patients aged 16-24 was used, with findings showing a predominance of narrow palates (80%) and a majority with tapered maxillary arch forms (90%), with males generally having larger palatal dimensions than females.
- The study found significant correlations between various palatal parameters, notably a strong positive correlation between arch form and canine depth, and a strong negative correlation between arch perimeter and molar depth.
