A wafer-scale metal self-rolled-up membrane platform has been proposed for the design and fabrication of radio-frequency on-chip lumped passive components, which is demonstrated on a commercial 4-inch sapphire batch fabrication line. Compared to the traditional methodology including planar or SiN based self-rolled-up membrane processing technologies to obtain the most basic passive lumped components, such as inductors and capacitors on the chip, this platform enables more compact three-dimensional construction of the component device structure with higher electrical performance. For demonstration, batches of wafer-scale RF inductors and capacitors are fabricated through precise design based on electromagnetic analysis.

To address this issue, we have designed three organelle-targeting platinum(IV) prodrugs conjugated with BODIPY fluorophores, enabling spatiotemporal control through green light irradiation. These BODIPY-Pt(IV) conjugates exhibit excellent stability in PBS buffer, demonstrating resilience under physiological conditions.

Identifying functional changes at each stage-from inception to development to maturation, functional execution, and eventual death or pathological transformation-often requires systematic comparisons of functional expression across cell populations. However, because cells of the same type often exhibit similar gene expression patterns regardless of function or fate, it is challenging to distinguish the stages of cellular fate or functional states within the same cell type, which also limits our understanding of cellular memory.

However, its potential effects concerning rheumatoid arthritis (RA) remain underexplored. This study was designed to elucidate the potential associations between Quercetagetin and RA, establishing the therapeutic potential of Quercetagetin and related mechanisms in RA treatment.

Methods: A retrospective analysis was performed on data from 107 children with CHD who underwent surgery between March 2022 and March 2023. Patients were categorized based on the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) cardiac function grading into three groups (Grades I-III) and further into heart failure (HF) and non-HF groups.

Recent advancements in feature selection (FS) optimization algorithms have influenced the field of epileptic seizure classification. However, integrating these optimization algorithms into machine learning (ML) models often creates time complexity, limiting their clinical deployment. To address this issue, we propose an innovative adaptive stepwise FS method tailored for epileptic seizure detection (ESD).

Among these, agents featuring second near-infrared (NIR-II) emission are particularly appealing due to their superior tissue penetration depth and high signal-to-background ratio (SBR). However, most reported NIR-II fluorophores suffer from severely imbalanced radiative and non-radiative excited-state energy dissipation in biological environments, resulting in extremely low fluorescence quantum yields (QYs) and limited diagnostic efficacy.

Cardiac fibrosis is a key feature of cardiac remodeling in advanced stages of various cardiovascular diseases. Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) have been shown to play a critical role in the pathogenesis of cardiac fibrosis. The present study uncovered lncRNA NAV2-AS2 as a newfound regulator of cardiac fibrosis, governing fibroblast proliferation and fibroblast-to-myofibroblast transition (FMT).

To effectively prevent water decomposition, it is essential to in situ construct SEI prior to water reduction. This study shifts the focus from aprotic to protic SEI chemistry and predicts reduction potentials of mild protic compounds using thermodynamics.

Methods: A retrospective review was conducted on patients with atypical KP-caused liver abscesses, as verified by biopsy or surgery, from October 2019 to December 2023. All patients underwent dual-phase enhanced CT scan, and MSCT findings were analysed.
Sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) is the most extensively utilized derivative of cellulose. In this study, an innovative approach was employed to disperse a CMC aqueous solution into olive oil in the form of liquid droplets, resulting in the direct formation of CMC microspheres after drying. The effects of CMC concentration and needle aperture size on microsphere formation were systematically investigated, showing that the particle size of the microspheres decreased with an increase in CMC concentration and a decrease in needle aperture.

Background: Intrauterine adhesions (IUA) is one of the most common gynecological diseases and main causes of uterine infertility. Among proposed hypotheses on IUA development, the reduced endometrial regeneration resulting from loss of functional stem cells has been proposed as the key factor affecting the IUA prognosis. However, the underlying mechanisms mostly remain unclear.

Such an interface should ideally be compatible with the neural tissue and aggressive biofluid environment. Unfortunately, no interface specifically designed for the biofluid environments is available so far; instead, simply stacking an encapsulation layer on silicon-based substrates makes them susceptible to biofluid leakage, device malfunction, and foreign-body reactions.
