We started a registry for cases of immunoglobulin (Ig)G4-related disease (IgG4-RD) in December 2019 to clarify the clinical profile of IgG4-RD. In this study, clinical information from 854 cases registered by February 16, 2024 was analyzed from multiple perspectives. Diagnosis of IgG4-RD was made in 808 cases, comprising 638 definite, 38 probable, and 132 possible.

Feasibility, efficacy, and safety of mechanical thrombectomy via sheathless transradial access as a first-line strategy: A case series.

Objective: Although mechanical thrombectomy (MT) is primarily performed via transfemoral access (TFA), transradial access (TRA) is a potential alternative in older patients or those with tortuous vessels. Impact of pancreatic ductal occlusion on postoperative outcomes in pancreatic head cancer patients undergoing neoadjuvant therapy.

Background: Pancreatic ductal occlusion can accompany pancreatic head cancer, leading to pancreatic exocrine insufficiency (PEI) and adverse effects on nutritional status and postoperative outcomes. Effectiveness of F-FDG PET/CT in finding lung metastasis from a retroperitoneal paraganglioma.

A 50-year-old woman was diagnosed with iron deficiency anemia on general medical examination. Further, contrast-enhanced abdominal CT and magnetic resonance imaging revealed a large hypervascular mass with internal degeneration and necrosis in the retroperitoneal space. She was referred to our hospital for further evaluation and treatment.

Background And Objectives: Although excess white sugar intake imposes various health burdens, brown sugar is high in minerals, polyphenols, and polycosanol. However, few epidemiological studies have assessed brown sugar intake for health benefit. People in the Amami islands region, with a relatively high proportion of individuals with longevity, consume brown sugar as a type of refreshment.
