First Simultaneous Measurement of Differential Muon-Neutrino Charged-Current Cross Sections on Argon for Final States with and without Protons Using MicroBooNE Data.

We report the first double-differential neutrino-argon cross section measurement made simultaneously for final states with and without protons for the inclusive muon neutrino charged-current interaction channel. The proton kinematics of this channel are further explored with a differential cross section measurement as a function of the leading proton's kinetic energy that extends across the detection threshold. A Case of Immune Aplastic Anemia during Combined Treatment with Atezolizumab and Chemotherapy for Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer.

Immune check point inhibitors (ICIs) have durable antitumor effects. However, autoimmune toxicities, termed immune-related adverse events, occur in some patients. We report a case of severe immune aplastic anemia (AA) in a patient with non-small cell lung cancer who was receiving atezolizumab with bevacizumab/carboplatin/paclitaxel.

Streptococcal Toxic Shock Syndrome with Multiple Cerebral Infarctions Caused by Streptococcus dysgalactiae subsp. equisimilis: An Autopsy Case Report.

We herein report an autopsy case of streptococcal toxic shock syndrome with disseminated intravascular coagulation and multiple cerebral infarctions induced by Streptococcus dysgalactiae subsp. equisimilis (STSS) in an 84-year-old male. Pathological examination revealed sepsis with hemophagocytosis in the reticular system and intravascular bacteria in multiple organs, originating from bacterial necrotizing fasciitis of the lower extremities.

First Search for Dark-Trident Processes Using the MicroBooNE Detector.

We present a first search for dark-trident scattering in a neutrino beam using a dataset corresponding to 7.2×10^{20} protons on target taken with the MicroBooNE detector at Fermilab. Proton interactions in the neutrino target at the main injector produce π^{0} and η mesons, which could decay into dark-matter (DM) particles mediated via a dark photon A^{'}.

First Measurement of η Meson Production in Neutrino Interactions on Argon with MicroBooNE.

We present a measurement of η production from neutrino interactions on argon with the MicroBooNE detector. The modeling of resonant neutrino interactions on argon is a critical aspect of the neutrino oscillation physics program being carried out by the DUNE and Short Baseline Neutrino programs. η production in neutrino interactions provides a powerful new probe of resonant interactions, complementary to pion channels, and is particularly suited to the study of higher-order resonances beyond the Δ(1232).

Interstitial lung disease with prolonged fever that occurred during long-term administration of olaparib in a 74-year-old ovarian cancer patient: Radiological features and considerations for preventing delayed diagnosis.

A 74-year-old woman, who had been receiving olaparib for the treatment of ovarian cancer for more than a year, visited the emergency department complaining of a fever that had lasted for 1 month. She had been taking antipyretics and antibiotics for her fever, but without any effect. Although she had no symptoms other than fever, she had stopped taking olaparib for 1 week before her visit because she had developed anemia caused by myelosuppression from olaparib.

Search for Heavy Neutral Leptons in Electron-Positron and Neutral-Pion Final States with the MicroBooNE Detector.

We present the first search for heavy neutral leptons (HNLs) decaying into νe^{+}e^{-} or νπ^{0} final states in a liquid-argon time projection chamber using data collected with the MicroBooNE detector. The data were recorded synchronously with the NuMI neutrino beam from Fermilab's main injector corresponding to a total exposure of 7.01×10^{20} protons on target.

First Double-Differential Measurement of Kinematic Imbalance in Neutrino Interactions with the MicroBooNE Detector.

We report the first measurement of flux-integrated double-differential quasielasticlike neutrino-argon cross sections, which have been made using the Booster Neutrino Beam and the MicroBooNE detector at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. The data are presented as a function of kinematic imbalance variables which are sensitive to nuclear ground-state distributions and hadronic reinteraction processes. We find that the measured cross sections in different phase-space regions are sensitive to different nuclear effects.

First Measurement of Quasielastic Λ Baryon Production in Muon Antineutrino Interactions in the MicroBooNE Detector.

We present the first measurement of the cross section of Cabibbo-suppressed Λ baryon production, using data collected with the MicroBooNE detector when exposed to the neutrinos from the main injector beam at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. Platinum-combination chemotherapy with or without immune-checkpoint inhibitor in patients with postoperative recurrent non-small cell lung cancer previously treated with adjuvant platinum-doublet chemotherapy: A multicenter retrospective study.

Background: Rechallenge with platinum-combination chemotherapy in patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) after disease progression on platinum-combination chemotherapy occasionally leads to a favorable response. The efficacy and safety of platinum-combination chemotherapy with or without immune-checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) for patients with recurrent NSCLC after surgery followed by adjuvant platinum-doublet chemotherapy remains uncertain.

Methods: Patients who relapsed after surgery plus adjuvant platinum-doublet chemotherapy and received platinum-combination chemotherapy with or without ICI between April 2011 and March 2021 at four Nippon Medical School hospitals were retrospectively analyzed.

Pulmonary sarcoidosis complicated by rheumatoid arthritis in a patient presenting with progressive fibrosing interstitial lung disease and treated with nintedanib: a case report and literature review.

Sarcoidosis is a multisystem disease with an unknown etiology and is characterized by the formation of noncaseating granulomas in the affected organs. We present the case of a 69-year-old male Japanese patient with bilateral hilar lymphadenopathy on chest radiographs for more than 10 years, left without further investigation. The patient reported no clinical symptoms.

Search for Cosmic-Ray Boosted Sub-GeV Dark Matter Using Recoil Protons at Super-Kamiokande.

We report a search for cosmic-ray boosted dark matter with protons using the 0.37  megaton×years data collected at Super-Kamiokande experiment during the 1996-2018 period (SKI-IV phase). We searched for an excess of proton recoils above the atmospheric neutrino background from the vicinity of the Galactic Center.

First Constraints on Light Sterile Neutrino Oscillations from Combined Appearance and Disappearance Searches with the MicroBooNE Detector.

We present a search for eV-scale sterile neutrino oscillations in the MicroBooNE liquid argon detector, simultaneously considering all possible appearance and disappearance effects within the 3+1 active-to-sterile neutrino oscillation framework. We analyze the neutrino candidate events for the recent measurements of charged-current ν_{e} and ν_{μ} interactions in the MicroBooNE detector, using data corresponding to an exposure of 6.37×10^{20} protons on target from the Fermilab booster neutrino beam.

Usefulness of simultaneous impulse oscillometry and spirometry with airway response to bronchodilator in the diagnosis of asthmatic cough.

Some of the most common causes of chronic cough include cough variant asthma (CVA), bronchial asthma (BA), and asthma-COPD overlap (ACO). Although there is some overlap in the etiology of these diseases, it is clinically important to attempt an early differential diagnosis due to treatment strategies and prognoses. Spirometry and impulse oscillometry (IOS) before and after bronchodilator inhalation were analyzed for clinically diagnosed CVA (cCVA,  = 203), BA (cBA,  = 222), and ACO (cACO,  = 61).

Effect of Adding Inhaled Corticosteroid to Long-Acting Muscarinic Antagonist/Long-Acting Beta-Agonist Therapy Among Patients With Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.

Background The role of inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is unclear. Hence, this study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of ICS as an add-on to long-acting muscarinic antagonist (LAMA)/long-acting beta 2 agonist (LABA), which was assessed using the impulse oscillation system (IOS), in patients with COPD. Methodology We included patients with COPD whose treatment was changed from LAMA/LABA (≥four weeks) to ICS/LAMA/LABA between April 2019 and March 2021.

[Serious S-1-Induced Lung Injury Diagnosed by Early Lung Biopsy-A Case Report].

The patient was a 65-year-old man who developed dyspnea after 6 courses of S-1 and oxaliplatin(SOX)chemotherapy for advanced stomach cancer. The chemotherapy regimen consisted of SOX chemotherapy. The patient developed hypoxemia, and chest radiography revealed ground-glass opacity in both lungs.

Copper deficiency is a disease that causes cytopaenia and neuropathy and can be treated by copper supplementation. Long-term tube feeding, long-term total parenteral nutrition, intestinal resection and ingestion of zinc are known copper deficiency risk factors; however, alcohol abuse is not. In this case, a 71-year-old man had difficulty waking.
