Objectives: to analyze the trend, according to sex, of Ambulatory Care-Sensitive Conditions in the Primary Health Care of the Federal District, from 2009 to 2019.
Methods: ecological trend study using ACSC hospitalization data available in the Hospitalization System of the Single Health System. The Prais-Winsten method was used to calculate the annual rate variation, expressed in percentages.

Objective: Analyze the influence between the components of metabolic syndrome and the independent risk for cardiovascular disease (CVD) in the elderly.
Methods: A descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out with 205 older adults from a primary healthcare unit of the Federal District, Brazil. The cardiovascular risk was determined by the Framingham Risk Score (FRS).
Objective: to evaluate the Nursing Diagnosis (ND) Risk for Falls in elderly subjects in primary health care in the Federal District.
Methods: a descriptive, quantitative, cross-sectional study conducted in two basic health units. Data collection included blood collection, nursing consultation and physical evaluation of 156 elderly subjects with chronic diseases.
This study compared standardised rates of hospitalisations due to ambulatory care sensitive conditions (ACSCs) in Brazil's Federal District from 2009 to 2018, as compared with those for selected state capitals, age groups and admissions groups. This ecological study used secondary data drawn from Hospital Information System microdata for the study period, during which, in the Federal District, the proportion of such admissions among 50-59 and 60-69 year olds declined, while those among children and adolescents held stable. Meanwhile, rates did not decrease in the ≤ 20 year age groups, a priority population in PHC, which may suggest that this population encountered barriers to access.

Objective: To understand the care of elderly men with their own health.
Method: A qualitative study with the participation of ten elderly men, through responses to the semi-structured interview guided by the "Tell me about your experiences of care with your health", carried out in a basic health unit, during the period of October-December 2014. The speeches, after being transcribed were submitted to content analysis.
This study analyzes hospitalizations due to ambulatory care-sensitive conditions with a focus on infectious and parasitic diseases (IPDs) and validates the Hospital Information System, Brazilian Unified National Health System (SIH/SUS) for recording hospitalizations due to ambulatory care-sensitive conditions in a hospital in the Federal District, Brazil, in 2012. The study estimates the sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value (PPV), and negative predictive value (NPV) of the SIH for recording hospitalizations due to ambulatory care-sensitive conditions, with the patient's medical file as the gold standard. There were 1,604 hospitalizations for hospitalizations due to ambulatory care-sensitive conditions (19.

Method: The hospital information system records for conditions which are sensitive to ambulatory care, and for those which are not, were considered for analysis, taking the medical records as the gold standard. Through simple random sampling, a sample of 816 medical records was defined and selected by means of a list of random numbers using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences.
The objectives of this study were to identify the main Ambulatory Care Sensitive Conditions (ACSC) of PedreiraGeneral Hospital and the Basic Health Units that demanded a higher number of hospitalizations. An exploratory, descriptive and quantitative study was performed using 2008 data obtained in the Hospital Information System of the National Health System and 816 records of patients from Pedreira General Hospital. A total of 10,616 hospitalizations occurred in the addressed period, 1,689 (15.
