Introduction Debriefing in healthcare simulation is helpful in reinforcing learning objectives, closing performance gaps, and improving future practice and patient care. The Debriefing Assessment for Simulation in Healthcare (DASH) is a validated tool. However, localized rater training for the DASH has not been described.

Although fortilin has been shown to interact with cytoskeleton proteins such as tubulin and actin, its interactions with the components of adherens junctions remained unknown. Using co-immunoprecipitation western blot analyses, the proximity ligation assay, microscale thermophoresis, and biolayer interferometry, we here show that fortilin specifically interacts with CTNNA3 (α-T-catenin), but not with CTNNA1, CTNNA2, or CTNNB.

Methods: In this systematic review and meta-analysis, we searched for quantitative studies (cross-sectional, longitudinal, case-control, randomised control trials) reporting HPV prevalence among women aged 50 years and older with normal cytology published until May 31, 2022, in PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science. The risk of bias was assessed using a modified Newcastle-Ottawa scale.
Margarine, a water-in-oil (W/O) emulsion, offers advantages such as lower costs in comparison to similar products, but large amounts of saturated fats pose health risks. Reduction of saturated fat content is difficult and often leads to "oil-off," i.e.

Materials And Methods: Specimens of different sizes and shapes were either printed (Vitality, Smart Dent) or machinable (Grandio Blocs, Voco GmbH) resin composites with similar composition were prepared. Surface and mechanical characterization were performed with Knoop hardness, flexural strength (three-point-bending), and elastic modulus tests.
Background: Vaccination is essential, especially in older adults whose immune system function declines with age. The COVID-19 pandemic and its associated lockdowns temporarily disrupted routine vaccination services. We aimed to assess vaccination coverage for Influenza, Pneumococcus, and Herpes zoster among older adults in Bavaria over time and investigate potential pandemic effects on these rates.

Conventional techniques for SARS-CoV-2 detection have limitations, as high cost, low specificity, and longer analysis time, among others. Biosensors emerge as a necessary alternative to overcome the difficulties of current diagnostics.

Six interesterified fats with different LA and LNA contents were prepared and oxidized at 50°C, 60°C, 70°C, and 80°C under Rancimat test conditions. The oxidation rate increased with LA and LNA contents and increasing temperature.

While this risk is particularly high for smoking-related SPCs, the published standardized incidence ratio (SIR) for lung cancer after lung cancer is unexpectedly low in countries that follow international multiple primary (IARC/IACR MP) rules when compared to the USA, where distinct rules are employed. IARC/IACR rules rely on histology-dependent documentation of SPC with the same location as the first cancer and only classify an SPC when tumors present different histology.

The endoplasmic reticulum redox chaperone protein disulfide isomerase A1 (PDIA1) is overexpressed during vascular proliferative diseases, regulating thrombus formation, endoplasmic reticulum stress adaptation, and structural remodeling. However, both protective and deleterious vascular effects have been reported for PDIA1, depending on the cell type and underlying vascular condition.

Methods: This secondary data analysis uses health claims data provided by the Bavarian Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (KVB), covering approximately 11 million insurees, accounting for 85% of the total population of Bavaria, Germany. Newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes cases in adults (≥20 years) coded as E11 (Diabetes mellitus, Type 2) or E14 (Unspecified diabetes mellitus) under ICD-10, German modification (ICD-10-GM) for the study period 2012 to 2021 were included.
Objective: There is evidence in Germany that half of the cervical cancer (CC) cases had undergone screening frequently in the decade preceding their diagnosis, signaling cytology quality issues. This study investigates routine smear assessment accuracy in Germany.
Methods: Within a population-based case-control study in 9 German states, we recruited cases (women with a histologically confirmed diagnosis of CC) and population controls (women with no history of CC or hysterectomy).
An unfavorable insertion of the middle turbinate for cryotherapy was present in 74.2% of cases. Placing cryoprobe 15-30 mm above the nasal floor targets the nerves in 95.

Here, we assessed structural/functional features of B12/B14 with respect to their regulation by ER stress and their involvement in ER stress-mediated protein reflux.
Methods: We investigated the effect of Unfolded Protein Response(UPR)-eliciting drugs on the expression/regulation of B12-B14 and their roles in ER-to-cytosol translocation of Protein Disulfide Isomerase-A1(PDI).
Background And Aims: Redox signaling is involved in the pathophysiology of aortic aneurysm/dissection. Protein Disulfide Isomerases and its prototype PDIA1 are thiol redox chaperones mainly from endoplasmic reticulum (ER), while PDIA1 cell surface pool redox-regulates thrombosis, cytoskeleton remodeling and integrin activation, which are mechanisms involved in aortic disease. Here we investigate the roles of PDIA1 in aortic dissection.

Methods: We used the latest Demographic and Health Surveys that included HIV testing among other biomarkers of 31 countries in sub-Saharan Africa.
Objective: The study aimed to evaluate the risk of maternal death and fetal death among pregnant women infected with SARS-CoV-2.
Methods: This is a retrospective cohort study among pregnant women with secondary data from the National Live Births System (Sistema Nacional de Nascidos Vivos), National Mortality System (Sistema Nacional de Mortalidade), and e-SUS Health Surveillance System (Sistema e-SUS Vigilância em Saúde). Pregnant women confirmed for COVID-19 had positive RT-PCR between March 2020 and May 2021, pregnant women without COVID-19 were those without notification for disease.
Unlabelled: Currently, the market offers a wide variety of suture threads, made of materials with different structural and chemical properties. Among many other characteristics, they vary in origin, absorption or degradation, and structure. From this variety, the clinical doubt arises as to which material provides the patient with the best healing quality.

We estimated the incidence of second primary cancer (SPC) in CRC survivors and its potential risk factors. We identified CRC cases diagnosed between 1990 and 2011 and SPCs until 2013 from nine German cancer registries.
