Biliary cystadenocarcinoma is rare tumor that originates from the hepatobiliary epithelium, and its clinical diagnosis is difficult during the preoperative course. A 65-year-old woman with biliary cystadenocarcinoma was misdiagnosed as hepatic abscess and underwent ultrasonography-guided percutaneous catheter drainage. Ten months later, the patient was re-admitted to our department with a mucin-producing cauliflower-like mass measuring 10x10x5 cm³ at the site of puncture.

A resonance light-scattering method (RLS) for the determination of Rh(III) was initially developed, based on the reaction among Rh(III), WO4(2-) and ethylrhodamine B. The method possesses high sensitivity, but lacks selectivity. Therefore, a Rh(III) ion-imprinted polymer (IIP), prepared by precipitation polymerization using 2-(allylthio)nicotinic acid (ANA) as functional monomer, was used as sorbent to construct a ion-imprint based solid-phase extraction (IIP-SPE) method for separation of rhodium from complicated matrices prior to its determination by RLS.

Objective: To investigate the prevention of hepatolithiasis and biliary stricture post choledochojejunostomy using choledochoscopy technique and evaluate feasibility and efficacy of choledochojejunostomy and artificial valve of efferent loop in preventing reflux.

Methods: To analyze the data of 47 patients with hepatolithiasis who had been operated with Roux-en-Y cholangiojejunostomy and artificial valve of efferent loop to prevent bilio-intestinal regurgitation. Of the patients, 19 were marked with silver nip at the jejunum export of bilio-intestinal anastomosis.
