Adversarial training has become a primary method for enhancing the robustness of deep learning models. In recent years, fast adversarial training methods have gained widespread attention due to their lower computational cost. However, since fast adversarial training uses single-step adversarial attacks instead of multi-step attacks, the generated adversarial examples lack diversity, making models prone to catastrophic overfitting and loss of robustness.

However, the functions of these mutations largely remain elusive, partially due to a lack of feasible animal models. Here, we report a convenient platform with CRISPR-Cas9-mediated introduction of genetic alterations and orthotopic transplantation to generate a series of primary ESCC models in mice.

We present a novel deep camera path optimization framework for minimum latency online video stabilization. Typically, a stabilization pipeline consists of three steps: motion estimation, path smoothing, and novel view synthesis. Most previous methods concentrate on motion estimation while path optimization receives less attention, particularly in the crucial online setting where future frames are inaccessible.

Cancer patients often grapple with substantial out-of-pocket (OOP) expenses and productivity loss, with the ramifications being particularly crucial for lower-income households. This study aims to estimate OOP costs incurred by cancer patients, assess their productivity loss, and analyse the financial coping mechanisms employed by individuals within the lower-income bracket. The study employed face-to-face interviews among cancer patients aged 40 years and above, currently undergoing treatment, and belonging to the lower-income group.

However, current rapid sensing platforms for tetracyclines can only quantify the total amount of TCs mixture, lacking real-time identification of individual components. To address this challenge, we integrated a deep learning strategy with fluorescence and colorimetry-based multi-mode logic gates in our self-designed smartphone-integrated toolbox for the real-time identification of natural TCs.

Based on self-determination theory, we explore the association between parental autonomy support and depressive symptoms among Chinese college students and whether mindfulness and self-esteem serve as mediators.
Methods: A total of 1,182 Chinese college students aged 16 to 27 years ( = 20.
Background: Rhabdomyosarcoma(RMS) is the most common soft tissue sarcoma in children and single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) in certain genes influence risk of RMS. Although had been reported in multiple cancers including RMS, the role of polymorphisms in RMS remains unclear. In this case-control study, we evaluated the association of SNPs with RMS risk and prognosis in children.

However, its efficacy and safety remain unclear. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of conducting SBRT during ICI or TKI treatment in different disease settings for patients with metastatic renal cell carcinoma (mRCC).

A meta-analysis and network meta-analysis were thus performed to compare the (i) prevalence of periodontitis in SLE patients compared to those with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and (ii) odds of developing periodontitis in controls, RA, and SLE.
Methods: Pooled prevalence of and odds ratio (OR) for periodontitis were compared using meta-analysis and network meta-analysis (NMA).
The construction of CN/UiO-67 (CNU) S-scheme heterojunction composites through in situ formation of UiO-67 on carbon nitride (CN) helps to address the limitations of carbon nitride (CN) in photocatalytic NO elimination. The optimized CNU demonstrates superior photocatalytic efficiency, which is attributed to electronic channels constructed by Zr-N bonds and S-scheme electron transport mechanism, effectively promoting the efficient separation of photogenerated charge carriers with high redox potentials. Density Functional Theory (DFT) calculations reveal redistributed electronic orbitals in CNU, with progressive and continuous energy levels near the Fermi level, which bolsters electronic conduction.

To date, cisplatin-based chemotherapy remains the first-line therapy for advanced bladder cancer. Late-line options have historically been limited.

Based on a systematic review and meta-analysis of observational studies, we investigated the association between SA and tinnitus in adult population. Observational studies relevant to our research were identified by searching PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, Wanfang, and China National Knowledge Infrastructure databases.

Urban farming has gained popularity in recent years, as more people have become interested in locally grown food and reducing their carbon footprint. Smart hydroponic systems can be an important tool for urban farming as they allow for precise control over plant growth and require less space and resources than traditional farming methods. Urban areas often lack access to land suitable for farming, making hydroponic systems a viable option for growing crops in limited space.

Methods: The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database, online tools and clinical samples were used to assess the expression and prognostic role of ADP-dependent glucokinase (ADPGK) in PCa.
Ethephon (ETH) is a common pesticide, and its overuse has resulted in a variety of health problems for humans. However, the existing ETH detection methods are tedious and time-consuming, and real-time ETH identification remains a significant difficulty. To mitigate this concern, a dual-emission ratiometric fluorescent probe Ru@ZrMOF was rationally synthesized for the detection of ETH.

Methods: From December 2010 to December 2020, we retrospectively collected clinical and pathological data from 373 MIBC patients who underwent radical cystectomy at our hospital. Preoperative computed tomography (CT) images were used to measure the skeletal muscle index (SMI), subcutaneous adipose index (SAI), visceral adipose index (VAI), skeletal muscle density (SMD), subcutaneous adipose density (SAD), visceral adipose density (VAD), and visceral adipose to subcutaneous adipose area ratio (VSR).
Gene expression programming (GEP) is one of the most prominent algorithms in function mining. In order to obtain a more accurate function model in configuration parameters-execution efficiency (CP-EE) of map-reduce job in the high-speed railway catenary monitoring system, this paper proposes a novel algorithm, called GEP based on multi-strategy (MS-GEP). Compared to traditional GEP, the proposed algorithm can escape premature convergence and jump out of local optimum.

In this study, we designed and fabricated a spermine-responsive triple-emission ratiometric fluorescent probe using dual-emissive carbon nanoparticles and quantum dots, which improve the sensor's accuracy and reduce interfering environmental effects. The probe is advantageous for the proportionate detection of spermine because it has good emission resolution, and the maximum points of the two emission peaks differ by 95 nm. As a proof of concept, cuvettes and a 96-well plate were combined with a smartphone and YOLO series algorithms to accomplish real-time, visual, and high-throughput detection of seafood and meat freshness.

As a major component responsible for reactive oxygen species (ROS) production during oxidative stress, p22phox, encoded by CYBA, is an essential subunit of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADPH) oxidase. The aim of this study was to investigate whether CYBA expression and its polymorphism are associated with PE.
