This case series aimed to assess the treatment outcomes of onabotulinum toxin A (BTX-A) in patients with refractory posttraumatic trigeminal neuropathic pain (PTNP) and to conduct a narrative review of the evidence for BTX-A in PTNP. Thirteen patients were treated with BTX-A infiltrations. Patient demographic and pain characteristics, BTX-A administration, and treatment outcomes were retrospectively analyzed.

Purpose: To evaluate the prevalence of chronic widespread pain (CWP) and fibromyalgia syndrome (FMS) in TMD patients and the prevalence of TMDs in patients with FMS.
Method: A systematic search was performed in electronic databases. Studies published in English examining the prevalence of comorbid TMDs and CWP/FMS were included.
This study explores the opinions of Malaysian clinical specialists on the antibiotic prophylaxis against infective endocarditis (IE) as described in the 2008 National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guideline. This cross-sectional study was performed from September 2017 to March 2019. The self-administered questionnaire comprised two sections: background information of the specialists and their opinions on the NICE guideline.

Aim: This review aimed to study the short- (≤3 months) and long-term (>3 months) effectiveness and sustainable benefit of different burning mouth syndrome treatment strategies and the associated side effects.
Materials And Methods: Randomised controlled trials of burning mouth syndrome treatment compared with placebo or other interventions with a minimum follow up of 2 months were searched from the PubMed, Embase and Cochrane database (published to July 2020).
Orbital fractures pose specific challenge in its surgical management. One of the greatest challenges is to obtain satisfactory reconstruction by correct positioning of orbital implant. Intraoperative computed tomography (CT) scan may facilitate this procedure.

We report a case of a 27-year-old Malay female who was treated with carbamazepine following the diagnosis of trigeminal neuralgia without a genetic screening. She was prescribed 150 mg of carbamazepine initially and the dose was increased to 300 mg following the initial dose.
