Introduction: Mature teratomas of the duodenum are extremely rare, with only five cases reported in the English literature and none documented in Vietnam. Malignant transformation within a mature teratoma presents a challenging scenario for diagnosis and management, requiring a nuanced approach to treatment.

Presentation Of Case: We report the first documented case of malignant transformation in a duodenal mature teratoma in Vietnam.

CLINICAL AND IMAGING OUTCOMES OF XLIF SURGERY FOR LUMBAR SPINAL STENOSIS.

Background: To evaluate the treatment outcomes of lateral interbody bone graft surgery and posterior percutaneous screws for lumbar spinal stenosis Methods: This is a cross-sectional descriptive study. There were 27 patients with 30 segments of surgery diagnosed with lumbar spinal stenosis that were surgically treated with the XLIF method. Clinical outcomes measured included VAS scores for lower back pain and leg pain, ODI, and JOA scores.

BACKGROUND Pneumatosis intestinalis (PI) is an uncommon condition that is not specific to any particular disease. Currently, there is no specific clinical guideline for treating and diagnosing PI. Introduction: Acute spontaneous subdural hematoma (ASSDH) due to ruptured arteriovenous malformation (AVM) is exceptional. There were only four reported cases. In this paper, we present a successful multimodality treatment of the ASSDH secondary to ruptured AVM.

Risk factors for human infection with avian influenza A H5N1, Vietnam, 2004.

To evaluate risk factors for human infection with influenza A subtype H5N1, we performed a matched case-control study in Vietnam. We enrolled 28 case-patients who had laboratory-confirmed H5N1 infection during 2004 and 106 age-, sex-, and location-matched control-respondents. Data were analyzed by matched-pair analysis and multivariate conditional logistic regression.
