Unlabelled: Tongue is a complex, principally muscular structure extending from oral cavity to oropharynx. Hypopharynx extends from the level of hyoid bone and to the level of inferior margin of cricoid cartilage and is divided into pyriform sinus, posterior cricoid region and posterior pharyngeal wall. Lesions that can affect the tongue and hypopharynx include neoplastic, congenital, vascular and infectious etiologies.
