Objectives: This study investigated the incidence of lymph node metastasis and long-term outcomes in patients with T1 colorectal cancer where endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) resulted in noncurative treatment. Sensitivity of cell-free circulating tumour DNA (ctDNA) assays is often hampered by the limited quantity of intact mutant nucleotide fragments.
