Renal preservation by pure laparoscopic partial ureterectomy for contralateral ureteral metastasis 7 years after nephrectomy for renal cell carcinoma: A case report.

Contralateral ureteral metastasis after renal cell carcinoma (RCC) nephrectomy is uncommon. In such cases, a mass in the contralateral ureter needs to be differentiated from the primary ureteral tumor. If high grade primary ureteral tumor is found and total nephroureterectomy is performed, dialysis is introduced.
