Background: Tooth wear lesion, otherwise known as tooth surface loss, is an insidious cumulative and multifactorial condition causing irreversible destruction of tooth enamel and dentine. Materials And Methods: This double-blind cross-over experimental study was undertaken among twenty randomly selected senior secondary students in Ibadan, Nigeria. Saliva samples were collected to establish baseline fluoride concentration before the use of chewing sticks and non-herbal fluoridated toothpaste.

Methods: A cross-sectional study of adult residents selected by simple random sampling in a peri-urban community in Ibadan, Nigeria, was conducted over a period of six months.
Background: Association between some socio-demographic attributes and tooth wear among adult male population in a rural community of Igbo-ora, Southwestern Nigeria was investigated in this cross-sectional study.
Methods: Cross-sectional study among 200 consenting adult males in Igbo-ora was carried out using a 10-item semi-structured questionnaire to obtain data on socio-demographics. Oral examination to establish the presence of tooth wear lesions was carried out by two examiners.
