Hybrid methods are a suitable option for extracting dietary patterns associated with health outcomes. This study aimed to identify the dietary patterns of Brazilian adults (20-59 years old; = 28,153) related to dietary components associated with the risk of obesity. Data from the 2017-2018 Brazilian National Dietary Survey were analyzed.

The prevalence of inadequate nutrient intake according to weight status was estimated based on Brazilian and international recommendations, in which usual intake was estimated applying the National Cancer Institute method. From 14 nutrients evaluated, six differed according to weight status in men, and only two among women.

Materials And Methods: Adolescents (G1) and adults (G2) with obesity assessed before (T0), six (T1), and 12 months after (T2) RYGB. Sun exposure, serum concentrations of 25(OH)D, calcium, phosphorous, magnesium, zinc, alkaline phosphatase, parathyroid hormone (PTH), and bone mineral density (BMD) were evaluated.
The viability of post-thaw fish oocytes can be affected by different stages of the freezing process, such as cryoprotectant toxicity, cold sensitivity, freezing curves and thawing. Therefore, these steps need to be investigated for the development of a protocol. In the present study, the aim was to investigate chilling sensitivity at different oocyte stages of .

The objective this study was to determine reference values for peripheral blood B lymphocytes, T lymphocyte subsets (CD4+, CD8+, naïve, memory, regulatory, TCRαβ and TCRγδ+) and NK cells from blood donors in Salvador-Bahia, Brazil.
Results: The proportion of included male subjects was 73.
The study objective was to analyse the association between food insecurity and the weight and height status of adolescents from a low-income area in the metropolitan region of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The population-based cross-sectional survey included 523 adolescents aged 12-18 years, selected by a three-stage cluster sample. Dietary intake was ascertained with a food frequency questionnaire and family food insecurity was assessed with a validated questionnaire.

Embryos at the blastopore closure stage were divided into two groups: G1 - embryos exposed to cryoprotectant solution containing methanol (10%) and sucrose (0.5 M), treated as follows: (T1) taken directly from room temperature to the refrigerator without being submitted to the curve; (T2) chilling curve of 0.

Data from two different studies on dietary intake that were carried out with 300 adults and 169 adolescents in the Rio de Janeiro Metropolitan area, Brazil, were analyzed. To estimate the number of replications two methods were applied: one based on the variances ratio, the other based on the within-subject variance alone.

The stages of embryo development were at: blastoderm, ∼ 64 cells-1.4 h after fertilization (haf); 25% of the epiboly movement--5.
