Purpose: To analyze nurses' motivation to learn, motivation to transfer, knowledge acquisition, and satisfaction with an e-Learning course about neonatal pain assessment.

Design: Quantitative, longitudinal, quasi-experimental study, conducted in a university affiliated hospital in São Paulo, Brazil, between April and October 2018.

Methods: Upon consent, nurses received two questionnaires electronically ("Demographics Survey" and "Motivation to Learn Survey") and were granted access to the e- Learning environment.

Objective: To present the nursing care of a newborn with Lamellar Ichthyosis admitted to the neonatal intensive care unit of a public children's hospital in a municipality in the state of Paraná, Brazil.

Method: A qualitative intralocal study implementing the Case Study methodology, in which a real case was explored in a delimited system with data collection from multiple sources of information during 66 days of hospitalization in 2016.

Results: The nursing care present in the protocol was based on: maintaining skin integrity through hydration and continuous lubrication with emollients, temperature control, nutrition and prevention of secondary infections.

Objective: To describe a case of epidermolysis bullosa occurring in a children's hospital in the South of Brazil, evidencing the nursing care provided to this newborn diagnosed with this pathology.

Method: A case study with data collection from medical records, approved by the Institution and by the Research Ethics Committee with Human Beings.

Results: After the diagnostic confirmation, a specific care plan was established for the newborn, encompassing basic human needs to the clinical treatment of the disease.

Results: The clinical picture is initially characterized by food intolerance, evolving to hypoactivity, alteration of vital signs and septicemia due to intestinal perforation.

Aims And Objectives: To assess parents' knowledge on breastfeeding, skin to skin care and sweet solutions as neonatal analgesic strategies, and to evaluate parents' perception on the feasibility, acceptability and usefulness of the Portuguese version of the "Be Sweet to Babies" video.

Background: Neonatal pain management during blood sampling is suboptimal, and knowledge translation strategies are needed to improve clinical practices. The "Be Sweet to Babies" video is a parent-targeted knowledge translation tool that shows the effectiveness of breastfeeding, skin to skin contact and sweet solutions for procedural pain relief.

Objective of this study was to conduct a systematic review of YouTube videos showing neonatal blood sampling, and to evaluate pain management and comforting interventions used. Selected videos were consumer- or professional-produced videos showing human newborns undergoing heel lancing or venipuncture for blood sampling, videos showing the entire blood sampling procedure (from the first attempt or puncture to the time of application of a cotton ball or bandage), publication date prior to October 2014, Portuguese titles, available audio.
