Due to environmental pollution and energy crises, zero‑carbon fuel ammonia (NH) has attracted extensive attention as an alternative fuel for engines. In this paper, the effects of ammonia energy ratio (AER) and injection strategy on particulate emission characteristics of an ammonia diesel dual-fuel engine were examined by merging experimental and simulation results; additionally, soot formation and oxidation mechanism were investigated. Results showed that the reduction in particulate emission was substantially higher than the increase in AER.

BiTe is the most-used TE material at room temperature, due to a high zT of ~1. However, it is different to integrate BiTe for wearable TEs owing to its intrinsic rigidity.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFAim: Protein tyrosine phosphatases receptor type D (PTPRD) is a tumour suppressor gene, and its epigenetic silencing is frequently found in glioblastoma. As aberrant deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) methylation patterning has been shown to play a role in leukaemogenesis, we studied the promoter methylation, expression profiles and molecular functions of PTPRD in paediatric patients with acute myeloid leukaemia (AML).
Methods: Bone marrow specimens were obtained from 32 Chinese patients with a mean age of 7.
