Pelvic arteriovenous malformation is a rare vascular abnormality, espescially in male patients, and is difficult to treat because of its nature supplied by multiple arterial feeders. We report a 70-year-old male patient admitted due to symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia. Ultrasound was performed initially, and no other abnormalities were found other than an enlarged prostate.

However, the characteristics of patients most likely to develop impaired left ventricular function are unclear. Hence, the objective of this study is to systematically assess risk factors for the development of PVC-induced cardiomyopathy.

Introduction And Importance: Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) reconstruction surgery has been proven to be closely related to the graft healing process, which can last up to 12 months after surgery. In recent years, through various biomechanical and clinical studies, Internal Brace Ligament Augmentation (IBLA) has been shown to protect the graft during these early postoperative stages and improve the outcome of ACL reconstruction. We present this case series of all-inside arthroscopic anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction with IBLA using semitendinosus tendon autografts, with the goal of evaluating postoperative clinical and patient-reported outcomes.

The effects of mangrove reforestation on belowground carbon dynamics are poorly understood. In particular, we do not know how fine root production develops following mangrove reforestation, despite fine root production being a major carbon sink and an important control of mangrove soil accretion.

We aimed to assess the timeliness of contact tracing among airline passengers arriving in Vietnam on flights containing COVID-19 cases and investigated factors associated with timeliness of contact tracing.
Methods: We included data from 2228 passengers on 22 incoming flights between 2 and 19 March 2020.
Mangroves are among the world's most carbon-dense ecosystems, but they are threatened by rapid climate change and rising sea levels. The accumulation and decomposition of soil organic matter (SOM) are closely tied to mangroves' carbon sink functions and resistance to rising sea levels. However, few studies have investigated the response of mangrove SOM dynamics to likely future environmental conditions.

These systems offer controlled release over extended periods of time making them attractive therapies. Monitoring drug dissolution is vital for developing safe and effective means of drug delivery.

Although the safety of tDCS in relation to cognition, sensation and perception has been well reviewed, there still exists limited information regarding its effects on blood pressure and heart rate. As tDCS is being largely used in conjunction with stroke rehabilitation, it is important that we understand the effects of tDCS on autonomic function in the stroke population.

Electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS) was used for determining the chemical structure and small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) provided conformational of the structure at the molecular level. The results showed that the fucoidan has a sulfate content of 25.

There are not many studies examining the use of tDCS for lower limb motor control and learning. Most studies using tDCS for facilitating lower limb motor coordination have applied tDCS to the lower limb motor cortex (M1).

The metalation of 4-hydroxy-6,7-dimethoxy-8-methyl-2-naphthoic acid (8) affording trianion 6 is presented and applied to the regioselective efficient construction of a series of 5,5'-didesisopropyl-5,5'-dialkylapogossypol derivatives 3 that are potent pan-active inhibitors of antiapoptotic Bcl-2 family proteins.
