Physicochemical Quality Characteristics of Southeastern Anatolia Honey, Turkey.

This study was performed to investigate the physicochemical quality characteristics of honey produced in Southeastern Anatolia of Turkey. A total of 68 honey samples collected from different beekeepers were analyzed for sugar components, moisture, pH, HMF, electrical conductivity, free acidity, proline values, and diastase number using the methods recommended by the International Honey Commission. The color value was determined by the Hanna HI 96785 color identification device using the Pfund scale.

Autotransplantation of a supernumerary incisor as a replacement for fused tooth: 24-month follow-up.

This case report describes the technique and 24-month follow-up of autotransplantation of a well-shaped, healthy supernumerary maxillary central incisor as a replacement for a fused maxillary incisor. Because the alignment of the teeth neighboring the fused incisor was not suitable as an abutment for post-transplantation splinting, a custom palatal splint that took anchorage from permanent first molars was fabricated. Following extraction of both teeth, the supernumerary incisor was immediately autotransplanted into the extraction site of the fused incisor.

Kenny-Caffey Syndrome: oral findings and 4-year follow-up of overlay denture therapy.

Kenny-Caffey Syndrome (KCS) is an extremely rare osteosclerotic bone dysplasia associated with hypocalcemia and ocular abnormalities. Although the condition is well reported in the medical literature, dental manifestations have not been discussed in great detail. The purpose of this report is to present specific oral features and prosthetic management in a KCS patient.

Clinical and radiographic evaluation of adhesive pulp capping in primary molars following hemostasis with 1.25% sodium hypochlorite: 2-year results.

Purpose: To evaluate, prospectively, the clinical and radiological response of primary molars, pulp-capped with calcium hydroxide and different adhesive systems after hemorrhage control with 1.25% sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl).

Methods: 100 primary molar teeth were pulp-capped in 67 children who met inclusion criteria.
