Background: The most accurate method of intraocular lens (IOL) power calculation in cataract surgery has not been determined, and further studies are needed to reach a consensus. The aim of this study was to assess publications related to IOL power calculation formulas, mapping their yearly trends, most productive authors, top publishing countries and institutions, and areas of specialization for IOL power formulas.

Methods: We conducted a comprehensive analysis of research articles published on the topic of IOL power calculation formulas.

Clinical and Bacteriological Analyses of Biofilm-Forming Staphylococci Isolated from Diabetic Foot Ulcers.

Background: Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease that is associated with increased morbidity and mortality. Unfortunately, foot ulcers and amputations due to diabetes are very common in developing countries. Methods: The Web of Science database was used to extract articles on Graves' orbitopathy or its synonyms. Full data and references were exported to VOSviewer software to be analyzed.

Environmental Risk Factors Associated With the Need for Penetrating Keratoplasty in Patients With Keratoconus.

Simulating a colour-blind ophthalmologist for diagnosing and staging diabetic retinopathy.

Purpose: In the absence of pre-admission testing for colour blindness, many of the currently practicing ophthalmologists are colour blind, accordingly their accuracy of distinguishing fine diabetic retinopathy (DR) changes is still unknown. This study aims to assess the accuracy of diagnosing and staging diabetic retinopathy and macular oedema among protonopic, deutronopic and tritanopic ophthalmologists.
