Statement Of Problem: Since water is the chromophore for the erbium, chromium-yttrium scandium gallium garnet (Er,Cr:YSGG) laser, the laser energy reaching the restoration decreases as part of it is absorbed by water. Theoretically, reducing the water or implementing dry debonding could reduce the energy consumed by water, increasing laser efficiency. Studies on whether it is suitable for removing veneers without using coolant are lacking.

Drawing on fieldwork data among Syrian refugee women marrying Egyptian men amid forced migration, I explore how displacement reshapes the meaning and purpose of marriage. Many such unions, often customary or polygamous, provoke comparisons to forced marriage and gender-based violence. Bypassing the reductive exploitation and static narratives, I ask: How does displacement alter refugee women's perceptions of marriage's purpose? And can marriage serve as a strategic tool for (self)resettlement? This investigation urges us to reevaluate the existing range of resettlement options and criteria, offering fresh perspectives on marital strategies post-displacement.

Cyanobacteria and microalgae contain various phytochemicals, including bioactive components in the form of secondary metabolites, namely flavonoids, phenolic acids, terpenoids, and tannins, with remarkable anticancer effects. This review highlights the recent advances in bioactive compounds, with potential anticancer activity, produced by cyanobacteria and microalgae. The presence of toxic cadmium ions in the wastewater resulted from industrial sector forms the critical issue for public health and ecosystem. This study determines the ability of four vertical subsurface flow constructed wetlands units in the treatment of simulated wastewater laden with cadmium ions.
