Analog reservoir computing (ARC) systems have attracted attention owing to their efficiency in processing temporal information. However, the distinct functionalities of the system components pose challenges for hardware implementation. Herein, we report a fully integrated ARC system that leverages material versatility of the ferroelectric-to-mixed phase boundary (MPB) hafnium zirconium oxides integrated onto indium-gallium-zinc oxide thin-film transistors (TFTs).

A naloxone population pharmacokinetic (PK) model was generated using data from two naloxone auto-injector (NAI) clinical PK studies. Mechanistic OIRD PK-pharmacodynamic (PD) models were constructed using published data for buprenorphine, morphine, and fentanyl.

Methods: : This study was a retrospective, observational study conducted in a regional trauma center. All the records of patients diagnosed with traumatic SCI between 2016 and 2020 were reviewed.
Although research into ultrahigh dose-rate (UHDR) radiation therapy is ongoing, there is a significant lack of experimental measurements for two-dimensional (2D) dose-rate distributions. Additionally, conventional pixel-type detectors result in significant beam loss. In this study, we developed a pixel array-type detector with adjustable gaps and a data acquisition system to evaluate its effectiveness in measuring UHDR proton beams in real time.

Exercise has been suggested to improve physical activity and the quality of life in patients with CKD, eventually reducing mortality. This study investigated the change in physical performance after exercise in dialysis-dependent patients with CKD and analyzed differentially expressed proteins before and after the exercise.

Although most complications associated with BCG immunotherapy are mild and self-limiting, rare albeit serious complications have been reported. Only a few cases of BCG-related rhabdomyolysis have been reported.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFAmorphous oxide semiconductor (AOS) field-effect transistors (FETs) have been integrated with complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) circuitry in the back end of line (BEOL) CMOS process; they are promising devices creating new and various functionalities. Therefore, it is urgent to understand the physics determining their scalability and establish a physics-based model for a robust device design of AOS BEOL FETs. However, the advantage emphasized to date has been mainly an ultralow leakage current of these devices.

In this article, we study the post-annealing effect on the synaptic characteristics in Pd/IGZO/SiO/p-Si memristor devices. The O-H bond in IGZO films affects the switching characteristics that can be controlled by the annealing process. We propose a switching model based on using a native oxide as the Schottky barrier.

In this paper, short- and long-term components are systematically separated and applied in each model. Such separations are conducted by the applied bias and oxygen flow rate (OFR) during indium gallium zinc oxide (IGZO) deposition.

Using the two-wave design with a 4-month time lag involving 279 employees, the results demonstrate that employees' LGO is positively associated with promotive voice behavior by thriving at work. Furthermore, ICG moderates the relationship between LGO and thriving at work.

Methods: Patients treated with DCBs were included in a multicenter observational registry that enrolled patients from 18 hospitals in Korea between January 2009 and December 2017. The primary outcome was target lesion failure (TLF) defined as a composite of cardiovascular death, target vessel myocardial infarction, and clinically indicated target lesion revascularization at 12 months.
Background: Insertion of a left ventricular assist device (LVAD) and heart transplantation (HT) improve the survival of patients with heart failure. In addition, cardiac rehabilitation (CR) further increases the functional capacity. This case report describes a successful case of CR after LVAD insertion and subsequent HT.

Although ECG-gated dose modulation (so-called ECG pulsing) is used to acquire many phases of CT images at a low dose, the reduction of the radiation dose introduces noise into the image reconstruction. To address this, we developed a high performance unsupervised deep learning method using noise disentanglement that can effectively learn the noise patterns even from extreme low dose CT images.

Medical imaging can confirm the invasiveness and metastasis of skin cancer, which is used to establish a surgical plan. However, there is no method of directly marking this information on the patient's skin in the operating room.

Methods: Between 1 and 3 years after ASD treatment, we retrospectively analyzed the medical records and transthoracic echocardiographic images of patients who had been diagnosed with an ASD after 20 years of age and who had undergone surgical closure (ASD-S) or percutaneous device closure (ASD-D). We measured LA peak systolic, early diastolic, and late diastolic strain values using 2-dimensional (2D) speckle tracking echocardiography (STE) and calculated reservoir, conduit, and contraction strain.

Background: A self-inflating bag (SIB) is an essential device for pulmonary resuscitation in emergencies. However, it is difficult for a rescuer to accurately predict a tidal volume (TV) delivered by a SIB to a patient.
Objective: The objective of this study was to evaluate TV values delivered by a SIB with various compression methods.
Background And Purpose: The increased demand for donor organs has made it crucial to keep the organs of patients with impending brain death (PWIBDs) suitable for transplantation during the process of determining brain death. This study aimed to identify the time taken to determine brain death (TT-BD) in PWIBDs and the associated influencing factors.
Methods: This study analyzed data collected by the Korean Organ Donation Agency from 15 hospitals in the Yeongnam region of South Korea.
