Purpose: This study aimed to compare the results of using knotless and knot-tying suture anchors in arthroscopic Bankart repair.
Materials And Methods: The patients who underwent arthroscopic Bankart repair between 2011 and 2017 using knot-tying and knotless suture anchors were retrospectively reviewed. We collected demographic data, clinical scores (pain visual analogue scale), functional visual analogue scale, American Shoulder and Elbow Society scores, and Rowe score), and range of motion (ROM).
Background: Few studies have described the characteristics of a concealed intratendinous subscapularis tear (CIST), and there is a lack of research on the preoperative predictability of such lesions.
Purpose: To describe the characteristics of a CIST as seen on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and intraoperatively and to develop a scoring system for predicting such lesions.
Study Design: Case series; Level of evidence, 4.
Background: Dog-ear and bird-beak deformities are common after transosseous-equivalent repair (suture bridge technique). The natural course of deformities after rotator cuff (RC) repair using the suture bridge technique is unclear. The remodeling potential of these deformities has not been investigated.

An intra-articular corticosteroid injection (IAI) with a suprascapular nerve block (SSNB), a common treatment for this disease, is a safe and effective method for the resolution of pain and restoration of shoulder range of motion (ROM).
Purpose: To compare the efficacy of combined SSNB and IAI with that of IAI alone in the treatment of adhesive capsulitis.
Study Design: Radiographic review of healthy volunteers.
Purpose: To determine the ideal sitting positions by measuring changes in lumbar lordosis (LL) and pelvic parameters (PPs) in various positions.
Overview Of Literature: Prolonged sitting is generally accepted as an important risk factor for low back pain (LBP).
A 53-year-old woman developed a vaginal mass following an uncemented total hip arthroplasty. The mass was in direct communication with the hip through an acetabular medial wall defect after loosening of the acetabular component. The mass formation was caused simultaneously by changes secondary to polyethylene wear, a tiny delamination of the porous titanium mesh coating and a broken antirotational tab on the acetabular cup, all of which may have served as sources of metal particles.

There were no significant differences in mean postoperative radiographic outcomes, functional outcomes, or complications between the two groups. Both groups showed satisfactory performance at the 2year follow up.

Few reports to date have discussed acute deltoid muscle injury, including partial or complete deltoid muscle detachment from its origin. The present report describes a different pathomechanism and clinical manifestations of deltoid muscle injury. A 52-year-old man experienced acute severe pain in the right shoulder as a result of abrupt elevation of the arm.

Using three-dimensional MRI volumetry, we compared the volumes of various brain regions according to age and gender in 115 healthy Koreans. There were significant differences in the volumes of midbrain, cerebellum and lateral ventricle, whereas those of brainstem and medulla showed no differences between old-age group and young-age group.
