Mandibular reconstructive surgery is necessary for large bone defects. Mandibular reconstruction using a titanium mesh tray and autologous bone is a common procedure in oral and maxillofacial surgery. However, there can be material problems-such as broken titanium mesh trays-which may undermine long-term functionality.
