Background: To minimize the risk of impaired osseointegration historically, it has been recommended to insert the implant into the bone (submerged implants) and to allow for submerged healing of 3-6 months in the lower and upper jaw, this conventional technique is advocated. The concept of nonsubmerged healing was introduced in 1988 in which gingival former was placed at the time of implant placement instead of cover screw. The treatment concept of nonsubmerged implant placement enables early implant loading, one surgical procedure only, and a reduced treatment period for the patients.

Water is a fundamental necessity for humans and a critical resource in agriculture. However, water scarcity poses a significant challenge, especially considering that agriculture accounts for a substantial portion of freshwater usage. The inadequate monitoring resources in agriculture lead to unnecessary wastage of water, affecting crop growth and the water supply.

Health-seeking behavior represents the actions taken to prevent the disease and promote health. It emphasizes both the illness response and the healthcare utilization driven by perceived threat and effectiveness of the preventive behavior. This study aims to scrutinize the progression of research conducted on health-seeking behavior in high-risk period such as COVID-19 using bibliometric analysis.

This work represents an integrated approach for the elimination of thorium through the adsorption technique and subsequent electrochemical sensing using Magnetite@Graphene Oxide@Chitosan (M@GO@Cs). Moreover, the sorption of Th(IV) ions is optimized through batch studies, which are consistent with the results derived from ANOVA using the Box-Behnken Design model, and the ideal parameters resulted in 95.

Objectives: The study aimed to utilise the stimuli in QualST, with the addition of a soft brush, to investigate stimulus-evoked perceptions of pleasantness and unpleasantness on the facial skin and if any side-to-side differences. Additional aims were to determine the inter- and intra-rater reliability using the modified QualST protocol and in the side-to-side differences.
Introduction: Wrinkles commonly manifest in various areas of the face as individuals age. This study aimed to assess the association between facial wrinkles and different facial forms.
Materials And Methods: An observational, prospective study was conducted on the facial photographs of 400 subjects aged 40-60 years, which were divided into four groups of 100 subjects each: Group 1, square facial form; Group 2, ovoid facial form; Group 3, square tapered facial form; and Group 4, tapered facial form.
Purpose Resuscitation guidelines have advocated the use of virtual learning as a form of pre-course e-learning. Virtual reality (VR) has been identified to provide a method of constructive learning with instant feedback. There are increasing publications of VR use in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training; however, there is a dearth from the dental profession.

Methods: This prospective study included 260 maxillary third molars with superimposition onto the second molar in panoramic images (170 patients; mean age 28 years, range 16-63). An initial treatment plan was based on clinical findings and panoramic images.
Ethnographic research with cognitively impaired older adults can be challenging, in part because cognitive impairment raises questions about the ability to provide informed consent. Relying on proxy consent is a commonly used strategy, but often excludes people with dementia who lack close kin (de Medeiros, Girling, & Berlinger, 2022). In this paper, we describe how we have analyzed existing research data from a well-established and ongoing prospective cohort study, the Adult Changes in Thought Study, along with unstructured text from the medical records of participants who had no living spouse or adult children when they developed dementia, as a way of studying the circumstances, life trajectories, caregiving resources, and care needs of this vulnerable and difficult-to-research group.

Methods: This was a single centre questionnaire-based cross-sectional analysis regarding COVID-19 which was conducted at a periurban teaching hospital in Haryana, India, amongst 300 participants which included pregnant women and healthcare staff involved in managing them. They were assessed for demographic details and KAP scores (knowledge-14 questions, attitude-9 questions, and practice-14 questions).
Introduction: Unfortunately, indicators of tobacco dependence are present even after low levels of exposure in young smokers. Early emergence of these signal risk for subsequent chronic smoking and nicotine dependence is negatively associated with cessation in young adults. One important yet understudied modifiable predictor of intention to quit among smokers is smoking rationalization.

Epigenetics is a somatic, heritable pattern of gene expression or cellular phenotype mediated by structural changes in chromatin that occur without altering the DNA sequence. Epigenetic modification is an important factor in determining the level and timing of gene expression in response to endogenous and exogenous stimuli.

Objectives: To examine the circumstances and needs of older adults who were "kinless," defined as having no living spouse or children, when they developed dementia.
Methods: We conducted a secondary analysis of information from the Adult Changes in Thought study. Among 848 participants diagnosed with dementia between 1994 and 2016, we identified 64 who had no living spouse or child at dementia onset.
The CRISPR/Cas9 system holds great promise in treating genetic diseases, owing to its safe and precise genome editing. However, the major challenges to implementing the technology in clinics lie in transiently limiting the expression of genome editing factors and achieving therapeutically relevant frequencies with fidelity. Recent findings revealed that non-viral vectors could be a potential alternative delivery system to overcome these limitations.

Non-specific factors are also likely to influence AE occurrence following administration of active pharmacological treatments.
Objective: This meta-analysis aimed to estimate the nocebo response in dentistry by assessing the AEs prevalence in placebo- and active arms of randomised controlled trials (RCTs) assessing analgesic treatment following third molar (M3) surgery.

The ability of Salmonella to form biofilms under harsh environmental conditions accompanied by MDR serotypes underscores an important food safety threat. This study aimed to isolate, identify and characterize MDR, biofilm-forming Salmonella from local Indian dairy and meat products (n = 60).

Slow stroking touch is generally perceived as pleasant and reduces thermal pain. However, the tactile stimuli applied tend to be short-lasting and typically applied to the forearm. This study aimed to compare the effects of a long-lasting brushing stimulus applied to the facial region and the forearm on pressure pain thresholds (PPTs) taken on the hand.
