The evidence and evolution of magnetic polarons (MPs) in HgCrSe have been studied by electron spin resonance (ESR), magnetism and conductivity measurements in a temperature range of 5-300 K. A single paramagnetic resonance line is observed in the high-temperature range while multiple resonance lines appear in the low-temperature range. As temperature decreases, the peak-to-peak linewidth ΔH shows a minimum at T ≈ 210 K, with the activation energy fitted by small polaron hopping model consistent with the bottleneck mechanism, providing an evidence for existence of small MPs above T .

When the trap frequency is tailored as [1/4t^{2}+1/t^{2}λlog^{2}(t/t_{*})]^{1/2}, where t_{*} and λ are two controllable parameters, and the change is faster than a critical value, the expansion of such a quantum gas shows novel dynamics that share the same characteristics as the super Efimov effect. A clear double-log periodicity with discrete geometric scaling emerges for the cloud size in the expansion.

In this paper, the thermal responsive properties of the canonical ELP, poly(VPGVG), and its reverse sequence poly(VGPVG) were investigated by turbidity measurements of the cloud point behavior, circular dichroism (CD) measurements, and all-atom molecular dynamics (MD) simulations to gain a molecular understanding of mechanism that controls hysteretic phase behavior. It was shown experimentally that both poly(VPGVG) and poly(VGPVG) undergo a transition from soluble to insoluble in aqueous solution upon heating above the transition temperature ( T).

Data aggregation is a method to effectively reduce the data transmission volume and improve the lifetime of a network. In the previous study, a common strategy required that data wait in the queue.

These T-T and T-P projection fibers originate from the spinal trigeminal nucleus (Vsp). We previously determined that many vesicular glutamate transporter (VGLUT1 and/or VGLUT2) mRNA-positive neurons were distributed in the Vsp of the adult rat, and most of these neurons sent their axons to the thalamus or cerebellum.

Unfortunately, the pathogenesis of EV71 infection is not well understood. In this study, we investigated the IL-17F rs1889570 and rs4715290 gene polymorphisms in a Chinese Han population.

Increasing number of genome-wide association study (GWAS) analyses hint that MS is strongly associated with genetics. Unfortunately, almost all the GWAS analyses were Caucasian population based.

Materials and Methods For this prospective study, a systematic literature search in the PubMed and EMBASE databases was performed for resting-state functional magnetic resonance (MR) imaging studies of PD published between January 2000 and May 2017. Then, a coordinate-based meta-analysis was conducted by Effect Size-Signed Differential Mapping.

This study was designed to evaluate the short-term and long-term potential influence of single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in CYP450 genes of liver transplant (LT) recipients as well as the donors on individual pharmacological effects of Tac and to guide individualized-medication from the perspective of pharmacogenomics. Twenty-one SNPs of the CYP450 gene were genotyped for both recipients and donors in 373 LT patients receiving Tac-based immunosuppressants.

We conducted a case-control study in 357 mothers of CHDs fetuses and 270 control mothers to investigate the association of maternal PAHs exposure, AHR, CYP1A1, CYP1A2, CYP1B1 and CYP2E polymorphisms, the interaction between PAHs exposure and genetic variants with the risk of CHDs. The higher level PAHs exposure was associated with the risk of CHDs (aOR = 2.

It was found that the Ag@C nanocapsules were ∼10 nm in mean diameter, and the MWCNTs had 17-32 graphite layers in the wall with a thickness of 7-10 nm, while a small quantity of spherical carbon cages (giant fullerenes) were also involved with approximately 20-30 layers of the graphite shell. Typical dielectric behavior was dominant in the electronic transport of Ag@C/MWCNT nanocomposites; however, this was greatly modified by metallic Ag cores with respect to pure MWCNTs.

Understanding the basic principles of the B cell responses during viral infection is of substantial importance for anti-viral vaccine development. In inbred mice, lymphocytic choriomeningitis virus (LCMV) infection elicits robust and typical T cell-dependent B cell responses, including germinal center reaction, memory B cell formation, and a long-lived plasma cell pool in bone marrow.
