Introduction: The necessity to promote pro-environmental behavior change in individuals and society is increasingly evident. This study aimed to investigate the effect of evaluative conditioning on consumers' perception of product packaging.
Methods: We first produced two stimulus sets: one including images of supermarket products with different packaging and the other containing affective images of healthy nature (positive) and climate change impact (negative).
Most consumers are aware that climate change is a growing problem and admit that action is needed. However, research shows that consumers' behavior often does not conform to their value and orientations. This value-behavior gap is due to contextual factors such as price, product design, and social norms as well as individual factors such as personal and hedonic values, environmental beliefs, and the workload capacity an individual can handle.

Methods: The interaction of FITC-labeled blebs with monocytes was studied by spectrofluorometry. Blebs are able to induce an oxidative burst in neutrophils, and we evaluated the inhibitory effect of plasma on this process.
The optical properties of one-dimensional gradient-refractive-index lens arrays based on liquid crystals are studied. We find that it is quite possible, using theoretical methods, to predict angular distributions of the light emanating from such arrays when they are illuminated with collimated monochromatic light. We compare four theoretical methods in relation to experiments.
