There have been no reports of the coexistence of allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis (ABPA) and granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA). The first case of ABPA with comorbid GPA that developed exophthalmos is reported. A 69-year-old man was referred to our hospital for exophthalmos, fever, anorexia and weight loss.

Omidenepag Isopropyl Versus Timolol in Patients With Glaucoma or Ocular Hypertension: Two Randomized Phase 3 Trials (SPECTRUM 4 and 3).

Purpose: The SPECTRUM 4 and 3 studies assessed the intraocular pressure (IOP)-lowering efficacy and safety of omidenepag isopropyl (OMDI) 0.002% vs timolol 0.5% in patients with glaucoma or ocular hypertension (OHT).

Ascending aortic impedance in young endurance athletes: a time-resolved phase-contrast MRI study.

Ventricular-vascular coupling in endurance athletes remains incompletely understood. The purpose of this study was to determine the ascending aortic impedance in endurance athletes and explore its associations with traditional cardiovascular measurements. In 15 young male endurance runners and 19 young healthy men, time-resolved (CINE) two-dimensional (2-D) phase-contrast MRI quantified the ascending aortic flow while the pressure waveform was simultaneously collected via a generalized transfer function.

True redo-aortic root replacement versus root replacement after any previous surgery.

Objective: The impact of previous aortic root replacement (True-Redo) versus any previous operation (Any-Redo) on outcomes after reoperative aortic root replacement (redo-ROOT) is largely unknown. In this first multi-institutional study, the clinical impact True-Redo versus Any-Redo in the setting of redo-ROOT was reviewed.

Methods: From 2004 to 2021, 822 patients underwent redo-ROOT at 2 major academic centers: 638 Any-Redo and 184 True-Redo.
