The article provides information that allows you to form an idea of the health status of children of different age groups living in Moscow. The sources of information were data on the population size, federal statistical observation form No. 12 «Information on the number of diseases registered in patients living in the service area of a medical organization» for the period from 2016 to 2020.

[An expert system to support diagnostic decision making by a neonatologist].

An "NATEX" expert system has been designed, which is intended to support a neonatologist's diagnostic decision making at the first stage of neonatal nursing. While designing the expert system, the authors used the shell "REPROCODE" wherein medical knowledge is presented as hierarchical semantic threshold network with shared attribute space. The designed system is realized on the basis of an IBM PC XT/AT, its operation requires only the processor 80286 and the operating system MS DOS 3.

[Assessment of anti-arrhythmic activity of palpitin and cardio-hemodynamic effects of its administration].

Palpitin, an agent of the disopyramide series, was evaluated for its antiarrhythmic potency in the treatment of ventricular and supraventricular arrhythmias and for its effects of ECG and central hemodynamic parameters in 108 patients (91 had coronary heart disease, 8 presented with postmyocardial cardiosclerosis, 5 had hypertensive disease, and 4 suffered from neurocirculatory dystonia). 24-hour ECG monitoring and echocardiography were employed in the study. It was concluded that the drug possessed a high antiarrhythmic potency.

Platelet aggregation and prostaglandin metabolites in the blood of patients with ischaemic heart disease during antiarrhythmic treatment.

The influence of antiarrhythmic drugs (oral lidocaine, palpitine, Etacizine) on blood platelet aggregation and prostaglandin metabolites was studied in 91 patients with ischaemic heart disease. Lidocaine showed a positive, Etacizine a negative, and palpitine no effect on platelet aggregation. There was no uniform effect of lidocaine on prostaglandin metabolites; it increased the prostacycline and decreased the thromboxane levels.
