For materials with high stacking fault energy (SFE), such as aluminum alloys, dynamic recovery (DRV) and dynamic recrystallization (DRX) are essential softening mechanisms during plastic deformation, which lead to the continuous generation and refinement of newborn subgrains (2° ˂ misorientation angle ˂ 15°). The present work investigates the influence of compression parameters on the evolution of the substructures for a 1050 aluminum alloy at elevated temperatures. The alloy microstructure was investigated under deformation temperatures ranging from 300 °C to 500 °C and strain rates from 0.

This study evaluated the biocompatibility and accuracy of 3D-printed β-tricalcium phosphate (β-TCP) pure ceramic scaffolds. A specific shaping process associating a digital light processing (DLP) 3D printer and a heat treatment was developed to produce pure β-TCP scaffolds leaving no polymer binder residue. The β-TCP was characterised using X-ray diffraction, infrared spectroscopy and the detection of pollutants.

Article Synopsis
  • The management of upper aerodigestive tract cancers is intricate, prompting the creation of a reference framework to define optimal treatment principles, led by a multidisciplinary scientific committee.
  • A systematic literature review was conducted to develop evidence-based recommendations that account for various patient-specific factors and treatment quality criteria.
  • The comprehensive framework aims to standardize care, enhance decision-making in consultations, and ensure equitable treatment practices, with plans for future updates to maintain relevance.
