In the pursuit of informing experimental techniques with in silico optimizations, we propose a pip deployable Python package, , to easily determine polymer crystallites within molecular dynamic melts and the chain orientation parameters of atomistic and coarse-grained simulations. The package supports the commonly used ⟨⟩, ⟨⟩, and ⟨⟩ order parameters based on the chain chord vector and utilizes a modified DBSCAN algorithm to determine crystalline regions. The results of analysis are written to text and LAMMPS dump files for visualization and analysis.

Surface-based ultrasound (SUS) systems have undergone substantial improvement over the years in image quality, ease-of-use, and reduction in size. Their ability to image organs non-invasively makes them a prime technology for the diagnosis and monitoring of various diseases and conditions. An example is the screening/risk- stratification of prostate cancer (PCa) using prostate-specific antigen density (PSAD).

Purpose: The purpose of the current study was to develop and test extensions to Autoscore, an automated approach for scoring listener transcriptions against target stimuli, for scoring the Speech Intelligibility Test (SIT), a widely used test for quantifying intelligibility in individuals with dysarthria.

Method: Three main extensions to Autoscore were created including a compound rule, a contractions rule, and a numbers rule. We used two sets of previously collected listener SIT transcripts ( = 4,642) from databases of dysarthric speakers to evaluate the accuracy of the Autoscore SIT extensions.

Aim: The EarLy Surveillance for Autoimmune (ELSA) study aims to explore the feasibility and acceptability of UK paediatric general population screening for type 1 diabetes.

Methods: We aim to screen 20,000 children aged 3-13 years for islet-specific autoantibodies through dried blood spot sample collection at home, hospital or community settings. Children with two or more autoantibodies are offered metabolic staging via oral glucose challenge testing.
