The paper illustrates the definition of a home adaptation design support tool for selecting interior finishes and partition systems based on multicriteria evaluations. In line with Universal Design principles, the selection criteria promote the creation of homes that respond to the changing needs of people over their life course, allowing for aging in place. Based on a literature review on the design of age-friendly living spaces, optimal requirements for safety, comfort, usability, management, environmental protection and integrability related to partitioning elements and interior finishes were identified.

Large museums as services to the community, can be considered strategic facilities needing exploitation after the health emergency. Through optimising usability, some methodologies and tools taken from other building uses (hospitals, airports) for analysing users and flows seem effective in testing new spaces' uses. The case study of Mercati Traianei-Museo dei Fori Imperiali was investigated in two different periods and methods for comparing the impacting factors on usability and orientation of visiting routes.

Thermosensitive transient receptor potential V3 (TRPV3) is a polymodal receptor implicated in nociceptive, thermoceptive, pruritoceptive, and inflammatory pathways. Reports focused on understanding the role of TRPV3 in thermoception or nociception are not conclusive. Previous studies also show that aberrant hyperactivity of TRPV3 channels results in spontaneous itch and dermatitis-like symptoms, but the resultant behavior is highly dependent on the background of the animal and the skin microbiome.

Objectives: This study presents the application of post-occupancy evaluations (POEs) methodologies to facilities for palliative-hospice care, in order to directly assess the physical-spatial qualities better suited for the specific psychological needs of "fragile" users and to ensure better architectural quality in new projects and in renovation measures.

Background: In international literature, there are few studies concerning the application of POEs to hospice, assessing the impact of individual environmental factors on users' psychoemotional reactions. The set of elements that patients and their families perceive as important, defining the architectural quality of a hospice, has not been sufficiently investigated yet.

Objective: Resistant hypertension (RH) may be associated with Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA), determining a remarkable increase in cardiovascular risk. The aim of the study was to assess the effect of six months with continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) treatment on blood pressure (BP) values, cardiovascular risk markers, and exercise tolerance in patients with RH and OSA.

Patients And Methods: Twenty-four patients with RH and OSA were recruited and 24-hour ambulatory BP, intima-media thickness (IMT), flow mediated dilation (FMD), renal resistive index (RRI), and endurance cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET) were obtained at enrollment and after 6-month treatment.
